I have just opened the box, and tried on both shoes. I wear American size 13, and the shoes are a good fit. As advertised, they have steel toes. Based on two or three minutes of wear, that doesn't seem to be a problem. However, obviously a steel toe cannot be adjusted. No shoe stretching machine can affect how it will fit your foot. The shoes are made of a canvas-like fabric, with a kind of plastic/rubberish sole. Time will tell how well they hold-up in use. I do not understand the shoelaces. They appear to be an ornament, rather than a functioning part of the shoe.

This has to be the most relaxed-fit steel-toed shoe out there. It certainly looks comfortable, and I'm not saying it isn't but like most shoes it needs time to be broken in. There is a very "interesting" insole with tons of raised bumps on it, that you can feel through your socks. I've never seen an insole like that before and I'm not a fan, but I think the bumpiness will become less pronounced with time. I'm not crazy about the laces either. They're pre-laced with stretch laces which are non-removable. They're certainly convenient, but in a steel-toe shoe I would think you'd value safety and security over convenience. I may cut them out and replace them with real laces, but I'll give it a week to be sure it's a change worth making. My work does not require steel toe but there have been times I wished I had them. If your work requires steel toe it's doubtful these will be qualifying footwear.

These shoes are comfortable and fit true to size. They slip on easily and feel secure. The reinforced toe is strong, i do not work in a particularly hazardous environment, but i have dropped things on them with no discomfort and no deformation so i am pleased. The sole is ok, not super grippy but not slippery, i am curious how durable the sle will be long term, but only time will tell.

These are actually slip on, no-tie elastic lace shoes. The comfort of these is okay and the fit true to size. They're very light weight. They are a little boxier than the "HeyDudes" type moc-toe comfort loafers they resemble, which is not good stylistically but may be good for comfort since it affords more room in the toe box and probably makes it less likely that the composite safety toe insert will hurt you. Throughout the interior except on the heel counter there what feels like a thin layer of cheap open-cell foam padding. They have removeable foam insoles with a nobbly texture. Removeable insoles are good because you can can replace them if they wear out or put in comfort insoles of your choice. What knocked these down to just three stars for me is that I don't believe the soles are very nonslip. On wet tile they slide around a little; it's not awful but the shallow texturing and relative firmness of the plastic sole means that when it wears a bit smoother it is just going to get even slipperier. The fabric of the outer also feels really cheap to me. That foam lining on the inside also feels cheap and not durable. These shoes are okay. They look fine and feel fine. Make sure that the slip-on style is really a good fit for the type of environment and work you do; are slip-on elastic-lace shoes good for climbing ladders? I also just have a bad feeling about the durability of this shoe. In multiple areas the materials are just not great. I believe there are probably better choices than this. The low-end safety work shoe market is surprisingly competitive, which is good for lower-income workers.Like some other affordable work boots they come in a plastic wrapper, which is absolutely fine and is often given some kind of environmental explanation. In this case there is some text and logos on the plastic that says "it's time for TREE!" (sic) and a little card included proclaiming "It's time for TREE!" (sic) with the explanation "for every SHOE BOX USED LESS we can reduce carbon emissions by 0.66 pounds Grateful for your contribution to the environment." (sic)I will eventually be giving these shoes to an individual experiencing homelessness, who needs steel-toed safety shoes for a job, through my longtime volunteer job with the Society of St Vincent de Paul.

Look like Cholo wear which is cool but not what I was going for. The inner sole looks like it has these spikes which feel great as I walk. I like the comfort the shoe provides as I walk or do lite work. I like the fact it has a protective reinforced tip which I don't feel or notice as I walk around or kneel/crouch. Slips on easily and don't require any hand assistance. (Back does get a bit bent in as you slip on) Looks and feel like comfy slippers. Find myself using them around the house and working in the garage. Good width and height so you have room true to size (Size 12) Has a flexible outer sole but does provide support while feeling balanced. Have not found them to slip yet (I do Fear this due to the smoothness/bumps of the tread in some spots which also make me question how long they will hold up) or give me any lower back ache. They stay cool and seem to breath well which is good for hot days. So, while on the fence on the look (On me) they have been good as far as function and comfort. Fabric absorbs water and outer sole slips on vinyl floor more when dry than when wet. Assembly and workmanship look well done. Not sure how they will hold up, so I refrained from going with a five. Plus, there is similar ones for less $$ (More like 3.5)

It's hard to believe that these are safety shoes when you look at them. They're stylish fabric type shoes and lightweight. They have elastic laces so you can just adjust them to your liking and just slip them on. I've worn them two days in a row now all day and forgot I had new shoes on, after a couple hours of wear the first day they felt great, lightweight and comfortable. The safety toe is a lightweight composite material that doesn't add weight to the shoe and I can't feel them. The padding is ample and the arch support is medium (not strong). The soles are a synthetic rubber-like plastic non-slip design. I like these a lot, I like the look and style of these. They're true to size and fit my size 10 feet well with plenty of room.
