Only time I hot sound out of this is when I set it directly under the downspout, even then it barely made a sound.

I've been wanting to try one of these for a while. I shouldn't have waited so long!!! I have tried a kalimba and it was hard on my nails/fingers. This is a great size for a beginner. It fits perfectly in my hand making it easy to play anywhere you want. I have not been able to play an actual song but, I enjoy just hearing the sounds I can come up with. It is a nice quality little drum, and the sound is soothing.

When it rains, all it does is fill with water! No sound at all! Very false advertising, do not buy as a rain drum. Joke joke joke!
