I use these at Hells Canyon in Oregon for king salmon. I also use them for trout, bass, blue gill, perch, coho and steelhead.

One time out in 41 degree water for less than 2 hrs jigging this lure and the stickers fall right off. Action is good and I will still probably catch some fish on it but disappointed.

I use this on my St Croix Victory 7’3 with Shimano Curado DC 151 and it’s my go to lure. You can of course use it on different rod&reel but that’s my combo and I can cast it at least 15 yards+. Wasnt biting at first, but I recommend reeling fast, pausing, then reeling again. That’s how this Peacock Bass hooked on. 🎣

Been using it for a few months now, It looks good in the water, has a good presentation. Haven't caught any fish on it yet but that's ok, may work better in the summer and it may be me, just need to find the proper presentation.

I live in a small town on the Colorado River in CaliforniaI got a steel shad in my lucky tackle box over a year ago and kept saying I was going to tie it on and throw it. It stayed in my box for over a year. I finally tied it on and fished it.I have been fishing tournaments for a year and have done alright.I prefished with the steel shad and all I can think of is your commercial I watch on the fishing channel. OMG they catch fish.My first cast, my second cast, my third cast. It went on all day. And multiple days of epic fishing. It has been three full days of fishing, the most epic fishing on our river.I have caught more smallmouth with the steel shad than any other bait.It is by far my favorite bait. It’s any enjoyable bait to fish, it’s action is amazing, and I LOVE catching fish on them.

I've been fishing blade baits for many years and I'm so glad I tried this one. Best fished with monofilament line. The vibration is the best I've felt out of all the blade baits I've ever used.Started by purchasing the Steelshad set of 5 last fall, had great success and recently bought a couple of this color (Sexy Shad) to try out. We've had tremendous fishing the last 2 days on this lure and it's rainbow trout colored version . I know this looks expensive at $7.49 per lure but if your fishing from a boat, use a steel leader with pike around, and have a lure retriever you'll have this for awhile. The photos show just two of the fish I caught on this lure this week. There were many more. Walleye, Northern Pike, Freshwater Drum, Yellow and White Perch, and Rock Bass were the species we caught this week. The pike I caught did a number on my lure and needed to replace the hooks and split rings, and bend it back into shape. Not really the lures fault.I think it was fine until the fish was in the landing net and really got some torque on the hooks, I replaced the trebles with red ones; hope it still works as well after the modification as it did before...
