Was tired of the steering wheel knocking on every bump. Added a little more grease to the bearing and Part worked perfect! made steering feel new again

This is a nice product to get for $14.00 something before taxes and $17.00 dollars or so with taxes. I changed the old steering bearing with this new one and WOW what a difference it made. The steering on the 04 Tahoe 4x4 was terrible before the change. I would go around curves with about a 1/4 to 1/2 on the steering wheel while in the curve. Very nerve wracking, going over low speed bumps was annoying as all get up with the steering sounding like it was going to fall in my lap. Now I can drive with out looking like I am drunk swerving white to yellow. I took the Tahoe out for a test run and it did great no noise from the column and it now has a much tighter response time. I most definitely would recommend this product if you need it. Thank you for being affordable for us shade tree mechanics.

Do not buy this unless you enjoy redoing projects. I changed mine less than 3000 miles ago. And it is clunking worse now than it was with the factory one with 115,000 miles on it. When I climb under the dash there is at least 1/4 inch of play. I guess you do get what you pay for.

My steering was making noise on my Chevrolet Duramax 2500HD when I would turn the steering wheel or go over bumps. I replaced with this and it took care of the problem. Easy to install.

Put up with a low speed clunk from what I assumed was a worn out steering shaft or steering box for 10 years because it was never a good time to rip the truck apart. Came across a YouTube video and had the issue fixed in 15 minutes for $40. Well worth the money.

Unfortunately I received a used part. The bearing doesn’t even spin this part was clearly off another vehicle and returned and then sent to me. Bad timing too as now I have to return and order a new one and hopefully actually receive a new one.

This was a perfect fit for my 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. This was an relatively easy fix for my clunking noise over bumps that I could feel through the steering wheel. I should have replaced this part years ago. my truck no longer feels like an old bucket of bolts. Just make sure that when you disconnect the steering shaft, you do not rotate the steering wheel with the shaft disconnected, that would cause damage to the airbag cable reel. I buckled the seat belt through the bottom of the steering wheel so that I knew it wouldn't flip around when disconnected.
