After years of driving our Gator around with a broken steering rack and refusing to pay John Deere prices, I found this. For the price I was a bit skeptical, but it got good reviews, so I figured I'd take a chance on it. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Fit, finish and function are every bit as good as a factory part. I guess time will tell how well it holds up. Would definitely buy again.

This new rack & pinion unit came c omplete with boots and tie rod ends and new hardware ready to install. I have a 94 Gas Gator 6x4 and it was an exact fit ! It fit my steering column perfectly. I did see on YouTube that one individual had to order a new steering column as his unit did not have a flat space on the racks stem to connect to the steering column coupler. Drives great now ! Very smooth ! $4-500.00 cheaper that John Deere orig part

Works great other than the tie rod ends are a little short for a TX Gator. I reused the old ones and all is good.
