The product seems to be made out of quality parts. I can't really test the damper itself but the resistance feels linear and the adjustment mechanism works.There were 2 problems:1) No installation instructions. I had to use an instruction for another brand. (If you search online for "MK-YA09-B001 pdf" you can find them). Even then I had problems because it wasn't a one-to-one match. At the end I had an extra bracket and an extra bolt. Everything else worked so I don't know where these were supposed to go.2) The instructions for the other similar product calls for 3 washers. This product comes with 2. You need an additional m8x16 washer.If you are handy and can find the additional washer this product is really good value for what it costs.
