Changing the drive train belt on a cub cadet xt2 is extremely tricky and I had to call in help because I didn’t have the right tools. However, I ordered this belt off Amazon, which is pretty high quality, and it worked great.

Had problems from the get go on this mower, it would sometimes not go into reverse, no matter how much I push backwards / forwards. Just seemed like something was wrong with it, but I endured it because of it being new and if it died, I had the warranty or I would find a new mower with the additional problems I had with the mower deck as well.April 2019, the OEM transmission drive belt literally pulled itself apart and now I had a barely 1 year mower that was dead in it's tracks. Tractor Supply Company who sold me the mower, did not carry the belt for it. They had every other transmission belt but mine. The manager said, "why would I carry a transmission belt for lawn mower that just had been recently been redesigned and barely a year old?"So, I found a parts diagram on-line and traced it down to here at Amazon.Belt fit perfectly and the transmission seems more responsive now than it did in 2018. I am thinking the OEM belt was a Friday at 5pm belt.I would recommend this belt for this mower, it has helped in changing my mind in keeping it, for now.

I bought this belt on July 26, 2018. It arrived on July 31, 2018. So far, so good. I was in Florida , on vacation, when it arrived. I installed it on August 17, 2018. I was excited to have my tractor back. I put gas in the tractor and fired it up. Sweet! I pushed the hydrostatic drive pedal and nothing! I looked under the tractor and the belt appeared to be turning. I checked the drive release behind the tractor and it was in the "drive" position. I took it all back apart and checked it. When I release the brake, the belt tenses up, but not all the way. It is approximately 0.5 to 1 inch too long. I am going to measure the belt and see if it is the correct length. Now that I read the description on Amazon, it says it is 153.75 inches long. That is definitely not accurate. So, I am still without my tractor and out almost $30. Before you question the application, I have a Cub Cadet model 13AQA1CQ009. The Cub Cadet site says it takes and OEM 954-05027A. This belt is an OEM replacement for 954-05027A. I will update if the length is accurate. *******UPDATE*******After measuring the belt, it is accurately 90.9 inches. I am suspicious that my hydrostatic transmission is going out of my Cub Cadet tractor. It only has 123 hours on it, so I am quite disappointed.

Fits perfectly on my 2016 Cub Cadet XT1 Enduro. Mower is back in action for a fraction of the dealer cost! Pic shows the mower and my broken belt.I got debris in the undercarriage mowing a field and my drive belt broke. Dealer wouldn't sell just the belt, they told me a new belt required special tools and they would have to install the belt for me. $$$$$...It's just a belt, how hard can it be?!There's not much info on how to install a new drive belt on this XT1 mower, but the only tricky part is the center idler pulley.Route the belt best you can starting at the transmission, then loosen (don't remove!) the center pulley bolt. Once it's loose, give it a wiggle and there should be enough room to slide the belt between the parking brake lever arm and the pulley.Snug the center pulley bolt back up. Remove the front drive pulley (I had to use an impact wrench). Set the parking brake to give additional slack. Run the belt around the top small pulley and reinstall (note the pulley has a keyway).Took about 35-40 min to figure out, hopefully this review heps someone out at least a little. Bottom line - my mower runs great again, thanks!
