Overview
- The DM556T is a digital stepper driver with simple design and easy setup.
- By implementing advanced stepper control technology, this stepper driver is able to power 2-phase and 4 phase stepper motors smoothly with optimal torque and low motor heating & noise.
- Its operating voltage is 20-50VDC and it can output up to 5.6A current. All the micro step and output current are done via DIP switches.
- Therefore, the DM556T are ideal choices for applications requiring simple step & direction control of NEMA 23, 24 and 34 stepper motors.

ottimi driver , funzionali e che rispettano le caratteristiche descritte , il vendiotre è molto d'aiuto , e mi ha aiutato con un problema che non riguardava direttamente questi driver ma il mio software che inviava un segnale troppo veloce e quindi i driver non riuscivano a eseguiri alcuni movimenti , risolto il problema tutto ok!

j'en ai acheté 3 pour remplacer de très vieux drivers PaP sur une etiquetteuse industriel.il y a eu un petit problème, le passage de l'entrée "enable" de 1 a 0 pour valider le driver met un certain temps avant d'agir et cela décalait la pose de étiquettes.la seule solution a été de ne pas gérer cette entrée (en l'air) et ça fonctionne très bien.

Last year I ordered three - and they came with heatsinks installed -but no Alarm connections or switch. I received a DM556T v4 - It is thinner with no heat sync - It has a screw terminal 6 pin connection instead of a 4pin and 2 pin - for Pulse, direction, and enables. enables used to be a 2pin connection. It has a 2pin header for ALM+ and ALM- outputs and a switch to set output from 24v to 5v. Removal of the heat sync is technology dependent where the component efficiencies improve. So that isnt a big deal. The alarm function at 5v - will be problematic without an optoisolator on micro controllers that are not 5v tollerant - and require 3.3V signal levels.

Stepperonline has never delivered me bad product.These drivers perform as expected with no difficulty setting up and installation.I will continue using Stepperonline for all of my motors and drivers.

just hooked this up for the first time after replacing a tb6600 and my word. it's fantastic. I can't believe I haven't gotten one of these sooner. driving it with a 48v power supply with 425 oz in nema 23. it's a world of difference. spend the extra few dollars for this one.

I have never use this kind of product before. Ask the seller about dip switch setting and they give me one initial setting. From there I start to learn it and it is very easy to use, working greatly in controlling my stepper motor

this is the best driver i have bought . one of them started to act up and i emailed STEPPERONLINE and was told that i have one year warranty and the will ship new drivers, also they are built very nice . My milling machine works so quiet. THANK YOU AMAZON AND STEPPERONLINE
