Not sure why but I had a few of these burst unexpectedly, and a few shoot off the syringe body (not luer lock body, but still, haven't had that happen with other filters ever).But they did filter well, so there's that. Get what you pay for I guess in this case?

These syringe filters work great for my research! I had been having issues with nanoparticle sterile filtering with 0.22um filters and significant yield loss, even with nylon membranes. Using these 0.45um filters upstream of the 0.22um ones helped me to remove debris that were causing fouling and reduce the final product's PDI. Overall very happy with these filters and recommend!

AN UPDATE: After I posted my review, the company Pekybio did reach out to me to remedy the situation which I didn't expect after communication with Amazon was the option I was presented and didn't offer any solutions. I appreciate and applaud the effort and solution that Pekybio made. This has changed my opinion and choice to try their product again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've ordered these twice. The first shipment I received was good and worked fine. The second shipment I received many of the filter connections were misshapen so this made them useless. Also, many of the filter's interior material seemed to be detached were as there was no filtering action whatsoever. The exterior design with the ridges was useful for handling and with a good first experience I expected the same for the second experience but that didn't happen, in fact quite the opposite. Amazon says I'm SOL with getting any replacements so I'm not buying any more of these.
