This is a nice looking hat. Fits according to size. Nice band inside so doesn't bug my boyfriends bald head. Looking to seal it to protect from water. Band is what comes down for the chin strap and is a little twisted, but should relax. The bead isn't much use.

While the hat fits well, the quality is disappointing. It seems others who have ordered the xs have the same problem. I have a small head and often have to order kids size hats. Was excited this one came in xs as the smalls have been too large. The quality for the price and the Stetson name is total trash. Will probably return for refund.

This hat is very light weight and breathable for wearing in the heat or at the lake. It fits true to size and was well packaged to prevent damage in shipping. The texture on the sweatband is a little rough, but I plan on wearing it with a bandana underneath anyway.

This is a nice hat. Beware, it’s not really a Stetson. It’s made in Mexico and is basically one of those hats you buy in Tijuana. I don’t know how they get away with the Stetson brand, but this isn’t it. CompRe it to a real Stetson and you’ll quickly feel and see the difference.Having said that, it’s a heat hat. Mexican artisans know how to weave straw and the result is great bits a SUPER light and breathable hat, the shoe is perfect (for me), it’s understated, durable, and a great throw-around hat. Quality-wise it’s similar to what you might find at a truck stop or tourist stand. It’s a $30 hat. But I love it. PS- I ditched the neck-tie cord. But it’s good. Good hat. Love the style and breathability.

I've had a lot of hats. This fits great (7 3/8) without any extra attachments. The venting and (of course) the cowboy style, keeps the hat in place. I haven't been in a big wind, yet, but I'm pretty sure the hat is staying on my head.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars: The bead and the leather hatband/chin strap combination could be better. The bead does not stay in place, but the hat does, so it's. probably never going to be an issue.This is probably the most breathable straw hat I own and will be my number one, until next fall and winter.May 24, 2023 Update: I love this hat. I've been wearing it most everyday. It keeps the sun off of my face and ears. It's so light, you can forget it's on your head. The chin strap issue was easily resolved, simply by tying a loose knot below the bead. I added a light latex hat reducer, but didn't need much. It helps in a strong wind. Most of the time it's not necessary to use the chin strap at all. I've changed my rating to 5 stars. I love this hat!August 8, 2023 Update… I’ve worn this hat almost everyday since I got it. In lots of sun and heat. It’s been on ass kicking hikes, long walks, picket lines, and in the car.Along with my prescription wraparound sunglasses, I’ve been prepared for everything this long hot summer can throw at me. The hat stays in place, unless there’s a strong gust. Otherwise, it absolutely doesn’t come off. It absorbs a lot of sweat and dries quickly.Last, but not least, I get a lot of compliments when I’m wearing it.

Hard to find a western hat, straw, wool or other material, in extra small, so this one caught my eye. Fits well, I don’t need any stuffing or inner binding added to the band. Straw is stiff but I expected that ( Google raffia straw). The chin strap is leather & an added touch & useful. For the price it’s a nice hat. Wish it came in other shades/colors. Probably won’t last but for the time being, it’s going to get a lot of use. PS female wearer. Woman’s hats are usually one size fits all - and they do not!

Arrived early & packaged very well.Hat itself is the perfect (central) Florida BBQ/Beach/No Reason Needed hat. Light, soft, and breathable. The flexibility tells me it will stay durable, unlike stiff straw that breaks..Seems very well made for the price. The XL fits my 24" jumbonoggin perfectly & looks amazing. No rain protection, but that's not what this hat is for.This hat will see a ton of wear this summer!
