Kit works well fixed the sticking shifter !The drill bit inside the kit is useless you have to buy another drill bit! Hindsight I would just buy the cheaper kit without the drill bit considering Iād have to buy one anyway

Worth every one of 5 stars given how desperate I was for a fix to my stuck shifter. I was getting embarrassing driving around and taking forever to coax it into gear.I almost took away one star because the bit provided to drill out the original pin is basically garbage. It doesn't cut away at the metal really at all. I'm not sure how anybody else managed to use this bit. Thankfully my buddy had a proper metal cutting bit and we got it out after 15 seconds of drilling.

Fixed my 2006 9-3 Aero. I don't think I would recommend as a DIY unless you are used to taking your car apart. I would have given the item five stars but it took almost twenty minutes to drill out the existing pin, so I would prefer a harder or sharper bit in the kit.

Excellent fix for the stiff shifter on the 6MT cars. If doing this job on a V6 Aero, be sure to loosen the coolant reservoir and remove both turbo heat shields, upper and lower. The gear tower CANNOT be removed or replaced with those pieces in the way. It took 4 hours total to overhaul not knowing this... To do it again I'd quote an hour and a half from start to finish.
