Love the kit, came with everything I needed to get started and I absolutely love the silliness of the chickens. Going to my younger sister who raises them, she's going to lose it when she sees it, super, super cute!

What do I like about this kit? The design is very cute and colorful. I appreciate that the fabric has been finished with a serger (thread around the edges) which will keep the fabric from fraying. The chart is full color, which makes color matching easy.What I don’t like? I’m concerned about the amount of thread provided, as I don’t know if it will be enough. I will report back when I finish this. There are DMC colors listed if it runs short, but I don’t order kits to have them run short. The needles provided are so flimsy and cheap that I won’t be using them: one already arrived bent. The chart is front to back, and I would have preferred it on one paper so I could see the entire chart at once. I may make aColor copy and tape it together. Finally, the bag it came in was so cheap and taped together so that I cannot store this in the bag it came in. All these things aren’t huge deals, I can use a tote bag, provide my own needles, and purchase extra floss if I need it. I do wish this kit were a bit better quality. The kit is easy to use, a nice size, and the chart is very readable. Worth it if you like the design, which is very cute.

A time-absorbing cross-stitch which would be ideal for an advanced stitcher. You need to refer to the paper pattern as it is not printed. God quality product with everything included. Would make a great gift for a crafter.

I am an experienced cross stitcher so when I am buying kits I check if it's stamped or counted cross stich, the stitch count of the fabric provided and if the thread needs to be separated into strands.I got the girl sat on a dragon and yes I feel this is a kit for someone who has worked with cross stitch before as the chart would be complicated for a complete beginner. There is also quite a lot of back stitch involved so you can recreated the details on the picture.Most kits of this size and complexity are around the £20 mark so i felt this was value for money and I am enjoying my project

This is a very nice kit that includes everything you'll need but scissors, and a hoop, if you use one. The finished product will be HUGE - over 14 by 21 inches. It includes DMC floss, which I appreciate. The chart is IN COLOR, and is printed on BOTH SIDES of the paper, something I DON'T appreciate, as I like to tape larger charts together. I also like a black and white version as well, as I like to color in my progress with a highlighter. (Just a personal preference, I know, but these two reasons are why I deducted one star.) In all, this is a fine kit, though definitely NOT for a beginner.

SO - this is a cross-stitch kit. I have purchased many, many of these in my life and I have to say that this is in my opinion a FANTASTIC deal. First off - the storage for this is lovely and soft plastic, with a clear front so that you can see what is inside. LOVE that. The back of it shows the "instructions for cross-stitch". One thing - it does say on there that "As printed cross-stitch, the pattern has been printed on the cloth". This is NOT, however, a printed pattern. It is plain AIDA cloth with no printing on it. This is a plus to me! One mind-blowing part to me is that they serged around the edges of the AIDA cloth. WOW! LOVE this touch! So, it comes pre-serged so you will not (or should not) get fraying while you are sewing your cross-stich. This is the kind of touch that makes you really remember a company, in my opinion.SO anyway back to the back of the storage package for this. It has a section of stitch instructions that include how to choose thread color and break it down to printed and unprinted cloth. Nice touch. There's also a section on cleaning and maintenance. The last section is "embroidery description" which shows the various stitches you might be asked to make. Cool.The embroidery thread in this is soft and satiny, not at all what you might expect in a kit of this price! I have received kits before with some very dry-feeling and coarse threads before and had to replace all of them before I'd do a stitch. NOT SO here. Beautiful, soft, shiny threads. Yay!There are 2 cross-stitch needles in a little plastic bag stapled to the thread card, which neatly stores your threads for the project by number. They are pre-sorted on the floss card. The front page of this (that shows through the clear window) has a color photo of the "finished product" (which is AWESOME looking!).Last of all is the instructions (pattern) sheet. WOW. It's all in color, for one thing. BUT, it's also on glossy paper. Not regular paper which tears more easily with the folding and unfolding you do while working on it - NICE touch! LOVE that they thought of this. (It really feels like they put a lot of thought into everything with this - like how you use it - and I'm impressed with that!) So you've got the huge pattern on a long page front and back that basically is 4 standard-size pages, BUT... they also included one page front and back that breaks down the smaller areas on one side and tells you what stitches to use with what color on the other side (it's all full stitches or backstitching with a few french knots, btw).AND in the end the most important part really is how beautiful is the piece? It is gorgeous - this is a truly beautiful stitchout if you love fantasy, but I'm impressed with the quality of this kit as a whole and the price makes me swoon. Cross stitch kits can be very pricey and this one was quite reasonable to me!Certainly hobbies could be a part of a well-rounded life, potentially providing numerous benefits that could contribute to happiness, health, and personal growth. SO - if you're looking for a kit for yourself (like me) or you want to encourage a hobby in a loved one or friend as a gift, this might be what you're looking for. In fact, I'll be keeping an eye out for more fantasy kits from this line.

I love the beautiful birds, I can’t wait to work on it

I was extremely excited to receive this cross stitch and was very disappointed that the picture wasn’t sketched on the canvas. Yes, I can follow the picture and figure it out, however I did not know that it wasn’t printed. The pictures show beautifully colored photos, but I guess that they are for the other kit that are available. This NEEDS to be in the description. Also there is a very small amount of yarn for this project. I will up date this review when I start this, I had hoped to take it on a trip and will take way more attention. Cautiously recommend if you do not need it printed.

This seller has a ton of cool designs and the kit comes with everything you need. I'm sure I'm going to mess up, but for someone like me who randomly loves to just pick up new hobbies, this kit was great since I didn't have to worry about searching for everything I might need to create a cross stitch.
