My metal floor filing cabinet had become a waste of closet space as it was gradually emptied of files over the years. Finding the Storex Plastic One-Drawer File Cabinet seemed the perfect solution.By placing it on a shelf I saved a good deal of space.The unit accepts standard file holders and they worked perfectly. Easily moved along the the molded top ledge they functioned very well.The cabinet is very light and came pre-assembled.Perfect for my needs.

Visually it looks fine. But when you actually have it in hand, it's like holding a lego. Easy to break apart with little to no force. Oh, it locks. But if you just pull the drawer up while pulling forward, it literally LIFTS the lock out of bottom and presto.. open box.I'm kicking myself in the ribs because the negative reviews weren't showing on Amazon when I purchased this hunk of junk. So thanks Amazon.Save your money, don't buy this crud.

There was no lock. There was just about a half inch hole where the key should be inserted. And it took me quite a while to get my refund. Anyway I finally got it. Had to send them a photo of the damaged product when all I wanted to do was return it and get my refund. It was my first experience with Amazon and it was not a nice one.
