I recently embarked on a bathroom renovation project and opted for the Tile Leveling Clips with 1/8" spacing to achieve a flawless and professional finish. While these clips proved to be an invaluable tool in maintaining precise alignment, a minor quirk surfaced during the process.Let's start with the positives. The 1/8" spacing provided by these leveling clips played a crucial role in ensuring uniform gaps between tiles, resulting in a clean and aesthetically pleasing surface. The installation process was straightforward, and the clips effectively held the tiles in place, preventing any unwanted shifting during the drying phase. The convenience of these leveling clips in achieving a smooth, level surface cannot be overstated. The time saved in avoiding constant adjustments and ensuring accurate alignment is a definite plus, making them a valuable asset for both seasoned DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike. However, a noteworthy drawback emerged when attempting to break off the clips after the adhesive had set. In some instances, the clips did not break off flush, leaving plastic legs protruding from the tile gaps. While this did not compromise the integrity of the tiles, it presented an additional step in the process.Removing these plastic legs required some effort and, at times, proved to be a bit tedious. This minor inconvenience, while not a deal-breaker, did add an unexpected step to the finishing process. It's worth noting that this issue might be influenced by factors such as the type of adhesive used and the specific tiles involved. In conclusion, the Tile Leveling Clips with 1/8" spacing are a valuable asset for achieving precise and uniform tile installations. The convenience and time-saving benefits are evident, but users should be prepared for the possibility of encountering plastic legs sticking out from the tile gaps after the clips are broken off. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall effectiveness of the leveling clips makes them a recommended choice for achieving a professional finish in tile installations.

Decent value, they work well. Some are deformed, but for the price it’s acceptable. Nice to buy just these and not the wedges that are part of the regular kits as it minimizes the waste after the job is done.

When removing these spacers, slide a hammer across the floor with wedge installed to get the good shearing action. They are a bit of a pain if they do not break off clean. Do not hammer from top side unless you want to do extractions of the plastic that did not come out of joint (big time waster).

This leveling system is amazing. I haven’t laid time before and it is straight and level. The spacers are easy to kick off when done and we use the broken tops to clean mortar from grout lines.

Easy to use and highly useful for ensuring all the tiles are at the same height. There are at least two different styles of tile leveling systems. Do not buy the screw type. It’s hard to prevent tiles from shifting when you tighten them. This style (wedge) avoids this issue, and this particular wedge style is robust and easy to use. Highly recommend.

These worked well doing the tile in my basement. Had some that were already broken off or deformed but most were overall in good condition still. They seem to be the best price I found even though I wish they were cheaper.
