Great strap wrench. If used on a glossy surface, you may need to place a fine grit sand paper or another of anti slip rubber sheet under te strap. I use this to remove Waterway plastic lock nuts and the plastic cannister holding my sediment filter on our whole house water system.

I used this to tighten something on a large farm implement. I even put a pipe on the handle to increase the leverage and it did not break or slip

Doesn’t grip at all. I’ve yet to get it to actually secure and not slip. Won’t buy again.

The fabric strap is very thick and sturdy but too slippery. No grip. Depends on what you need it for, but if you're trying to turn a smooth object, this won't grip it. You could maybe put a strip of rubber or plastic in between to make it work. Wasn't a good fit for my recent project.

I wasted years using plastic band wrenches with rubber straps that break and toss a person to the ground without removing anything. This one is strong, does not break, does not slip, does not bend and easily removes the large diameter Big Blue water filters on my pressure tank with ease.
