We only use 100% pure LUCITE acrylic sheets in manufacturing our acrylic bathtubs. LUCITE acrylic sheets are the highest grade of acrylic that are available on the market. Incorporating pure LUCITE acrylic sheets in the manufacturing process of our bathtubs ensures that the bathtub will retain its pristine color and will not yellow or stain with time.
Acrylic Sheet Thickness of 3.8mm +
During the production process, our bathtubs utilize a thickness of 3.8mm with LUCITE acrylic sheets. LUCITE is the most famous and reputable brand for acrylic sheets that are used in premium-made bathtubs. Other bathtub brands usually use a thickness of 3.0 mm. Increased thickness provides additional benefits such as extending the lifetime of the bathtub, providing extra durability, allowing for extended heat retention, and maximizing the soaking time with each bathing session. Thanks to our above average thickness of acrylic sheet that is used in the production process, our acrylic is not only much more durable and resistant to scratching, but it will also withstand heavy usage.

Maximum Heat Retention
At the interior base of each bathtub, we insulate using fiberglass to provide additional support and reinforce the stainless-steel frame as well as the shape of the bathtub. Doing so ensures that the bathtub will be able to be used for years to come and retain its pristine shape, while not bending or molding in form. Additionally, this results in an increase in overall heat retention and longer bathing time.
Glaze Coating
The surface of the bathtub utilizes glaze rather than paint to give the bathtub its high-gloss finish. Paint can chip away and crack with time, while glaze ensures that the bathtub color is fade-resistant and retains its pristine high-gloss look for years to come.

After waiting and waiting; after confirming with Streamline that they had all the correct information; I was so excited to finally get my tub! It’s the last piece to finish a master bathroom remodel. The tub was in a cardboard box (damaged) with no protection whatsoever!! They just put the tub in the box! Unbelievable! I am soo disappointed and frustrated!, Shame on Streamline!

I have always wanted a claw tub but my husband never wanted to mess with the removal and installation of tubs. Finally he said yest and I hopped onto Amazon. I searched tons of sites looking for something nice but not a mortgage payment. I found this Streamline tub. This is the best price I saw. That helped because this is also the tub I had to have no matter what. I got the black legs on it, I think it looks classy. The seller is so awesome and helpful. SIDE NOTE: I cannot access the vendor feedback so I will put it here. If you have been looking for this tub for half or most your life and given how everything is now purchased via internet, you do not know if the seller is trustworthy and honorable or is it going to try and rip you off somehow? Send half the bath for example, "oh, you want a drain?" This seller is as business owners used to be, kind, friendly, helpful and concerned about my contentment. I had a few questions about the holes and they helped me much more than they had to. They followed the whole process to make sure everything went through without me having to do anything except hit the purchase button. I wish they sold the accessories for this tub, no matter what, I would but from them.This tub is exactly as listed with the dimensions. This one does not have an overflow which I did not want. They are always in the wrong place. If you are looking for cast iron, this is not it. This is a tub material like most other bathtubs. I personally did not want cast iron, they stay too hot. There is literally nothing in this tub except the drain hole. There are no holes for faucets, meaning, you need a freestanding floor mount tub filler or a wall mounted one. When looking for this, if you want a shower, you look for a riser on the faucet.I was a little nervous about the weight and the deliver. The shipper says 179lbs. I doubt it weighs that much, I can lift the end up and turn the tub over. I did not see if it was a pallet lift truck but one fellow showed up with my box. He was going to drop it in front of the garage. He willingly helped my husband bring it into the house. The tub was packaged very well, lots of tie straps and strapped to a tub length pallet. We had to open it of course and out came a gorgeous, perfect bathtub! The legs are not attached and are too easy to worry about. They have a notch and on the bottom of the tub is a bolt. They slide onto that, easy. This was, by far, one of my best lifetime purchases. Sadly, I will not have it installed before October. My husband is rebuilding a Roadster.
