It's a great product. I bought it for my power bfs setup, and no complaints.

The Strike King Mini Pro Buzz Buzzbait isn’t just a fishing lure—it’s an invitation to every fish in the lake to throw a party. I cast this thing into the water, and I swear it started working before it even hit the surface. The buzz it makes? It’s like a dinner bell for bass.Within minutes, I had fish fighting over this thing like it was the last slice of pizza. One bass actually looked embarrassed for getting caught, like, “Dang, I couldn’t resist.” I even had a turtle swim up to check it out. The action is so good, I half expected a mermaid to pop up and ask for my number. If you’re tired of leaving the lake with nothing but excuses, this little buzzbait is your secret weapon. Just be prepared to defend your cooler when the fish realize you’ve been tricking them.

I use an 8.1:1 ratio baitcaster and I still need to reel pretty dang fast to keep this buzzing on top water.

The small size makes it great for ultra lite rods

I have used this lure on a pond and have caught bass. A few casts and boom, there it was. The only complaint I have is the skirt is easy to mess up. The rest of the lure is strong but after a few bass the skirt starts to lose some of the strands. Other than that it's a great size and performs well on the pond.

I hadn’t used a buzz bait much before I ordered this one. The price was great so I gave it a shot. I absolutely loved it and caught a ton of fish over the weekend. I’ll definitely be getting another one.

Please understand that this is a top water lure unless you crank it in extremely slowly. Even then, it runs only a few inches below the surface unless you intentionally let it sink. That's not a bad thing, since the peacock bass in my lake love an angry buzz like panicked minnows skimming the surface to escape them, but if you need a more typical spinner bait that runs well below the surface, this isn't it. It also is the first buzzbait/spinner bait I've had that retrieves at an angle, like an untuned diving plug, but that's just a minor annoyance.Lake's been flooded over the past couple days, so maybe that's why I've only had a few half-hearted strikes with it. So far!Good price and an interesting variation you should have for those times when surface feeding and schooling is what you see around you.
