The hanger is sturdy, easy to set up, and allows me top have my fiddles out for playing at a whim. I like the flat metal stand for holding a microfiber cloth and rosin. The small footprint is great, I saved almost 2 square feet of space in my room using this.

Got this so when I'm working with a student, we can both hang our violins and bows safely within easy reach while we're going over some sheet music or flash cards. The younger ones think it's neat that their little 1/8 or 1/4 hangs up just like teacher's!

Bought this for my daughter who plays the violin & uke. It's well built & works perfect for both & mounts on the mic stand with little effort. I'd recommend this item.

I play both instruments (not simultaneously). This is perfect to protect the instruments from damage. Excellent and well worth the money.

Used the twin fiddle version of this at band practice last night. Made changing instruments so much easier, reduced the amount of gear I pack around, and reduced my footprint on stage. I’m already getting questions from other musicians about where I got it. Really simplified rehearsal for me to have one safe place for both my instruments and my bow. And the little tray built in held my rosin and perfectly. I had thought the band instrument hangers were plastic. But a closer look and It seems to be all metal.If I could improve one small thing, I’d like a bigger wingnut head on the set screw. However, the one used fits my string winder, which is probably intentional given the rest of this well-made product’s thoughtful design.This is my new favorite thing. Brava, String Sling!

I love this violin hanger. I own two of them for my music stands. I believe my stands to be the On-Stage SM7211B, but I am not positive because I picked them up at my local music store. I also bought an On Stage violin holder at the same time that unfortunately could not be used on my stand as the connector piece was too small. That sent me on a search for one that would work, and this one does it beautifully. I also use it to hold my Korg tuner. It's very sturdy and it has saved me from having to case my violin all of the time. Great and sturdy product!
