I picked this up because I figured it would be perfect for my daughter to use backstage during her school play. Not only was this absolutely perfect for her, but other members of the cast were greatful for it too!The truth is- this portable fan is pretty amazing and can be used in any way where some cooling off is needed!☆ARRIVAL & UNBOXING☆This arrived super quick. The branded box was larger than I anticipated and weighed more than I expected. Inside, the fan and 'legs' (tripod) were separately bagged/packaged. A USB-C charging cord is included as well as a well written instruction booklet.☆BATTERY☆While this did come with some charge, we wanted to get it nice and full for showtime. I was impressed that, after running for 1hr and 10min straight (backstage), the fan still had charge/battery left! The fan charges fully in about 2 hours and can run for up to 4 hours (possibly longer, but I stopped timing it after that), depending on the fan speed. Stand by time is also quite impressive. With the long running battery, this is definitely one of the best small(ish), battery powered fans I've used! There is a green battery indicator on the screen that illuminates when you turn the fan on and change the speed. It also indicates when the fan is fully charged.☆CONSTRUCTION☆The fan comes in 2 parts (the fan 'head' and the tripod/legs) that click together effortlessly. At just under 4.75" in diameter and 3.25" thick, the 'head' is not exactly small. I feel the larger size definitely helps move quite a bit of air. The outer housing is plastic. The plastic is sturdy and durable, but it could possibly break/crack if the fan is dropped- due to the weight. The head alone weighs .88lbsThe head can and will sit on it's own (on a table or dresser) without the tripod attached as long as you set the fan on the small ring that the tripod attaches to.The tripod are awesome! It is composed of 3 seperate, articulated 'legs' that are about 7.25" long. The legs are coated in a durable rubbery material that helps them grip and hold onto any surface. Since the legs bend in any direction, the legs can easily be wrapped around anything and hold the fan perfect. You can set it up like a tripod, or keep all the legs straight and hold the fan in your hand. Wherever you put it, it will stay too- even if the fan is on full speed.Together, the 2 pieces weigh 1.15lbs. It does have some weight, but it's not terribly heavy at all.☆OPERATION☆There are just two buttons for operation. One is the power button, which also turns the fan speed up. The other will take the speed back down. Operation is beyond simple and the buttons are easy to press.Once the fan is on, the fan speed (1, 30, 60, 90 or 120) is illuminated on the 3.5" LCD screen. After about 5 seconds, the screen changes to a simple, but adorable smiley face. The face even blinks! As I mentioned, this can be used for a million different things, but I can totally see why it is marketed as a stroller fan. Aside from the fact the legs can wrap around and hold onto a stroller bar, the little face is so cute and adorable to look at!Another big suprise is how quiet this is.The motor, even at high speed, is no more than a dull hum. Of course, you can hear the air flow coming through, but it isn't defining at all.☆COOLING☆Between the 5 speeds, this big boy can move some air!On the lowest setting (1), you get a gentle breeze. It's enough to sleep with or just move some fresh air your way. At 120, the fan is really pushing some air! It can send papers flying across the table and can be felt from 5 ft away. Of course, the air is concentrated up close, but this can provide cooling for 3 adults sitting next to eachother.Originally, the plan was for my daughter to pick the fan up and use it to cool herself off backstage. After seeing the size and power of this thing, we ended up setting it on a table backstage so all the kids (in their giant, heavy, hot costumes) could get some relief. It worked out great, even with a handful of teenagers huddled infront of it!☆THE TEST☆While this absolutely can move air well, fans are really put to the cooling test when the air around you is hot. It's currently the dead of winter here, so the heat is always on inside and set to a comfortable temp. Even though the fan is small enough where it could be easily packed, I didn't bring this on our recent vacation to 'test'. I DID bring it in the car though and set the heat to 'HI'. After 40 minutes of driving, it was literally sweltering in there (and that's a lot for me to say because I'm always cold!). I got out the fan, wrapped it around my steering wheel (I was stopped at this point. The fan stayed where I put it too!) and turned up the speed to 120. I left the car heat on, as I really wanted to see how this would work in a hot environment.Thankfully, this provided me with immediate relief. Even though the fan could only pull in hot air, it was producing cold, crisp air. I was about 2' from the fan and my hair was blowing, I could breathe again and it actually cooled me off quite a bit! In the backseat, they couldn't feel the air directly like I could (and trust me- there were complaints leading up to the fan turning on!) but they did say that they felt 'relief- immediately. So I can say, for a fact, that this will cool you down even when it is only pulling hot air. I was really impressed by this too!☆VALUE & FINAL THOUGHTS☆This is more expensive than others personal fans- there's no denying that. But seeing how powerful and useful it is, on top of the great construction and battery life, I have to admit that it's worth every dollar. While this is a perfect fan to have for a stroller, it really is a fantastic choice to have in any situation where a personal fan is needed! My daughter has plans to take this to summer camp this year, where she will easily be able to wrap it around the bunk bed railing and have some cool air to breathe at night. I use this, almost daily, in the bathroom when I'm getting ready/blow drying my hair. I've even used it when I was cooking too! It's just...awesome!Seeing how I've been using it non-stop and knowing that my daughter will need it soon, I decided to pick up another fan. That was an easy choice to make. The hard part was picking out what color to get!

My first reaction to unpacking this fan advertised as being useful for a stroller, with flexible legs that can grab onto just about anything, was that it was much larger than I'd imagined. Sure. the general measurements are posted, but I guess in my mind, I pictured a smaller fan for facing a child in a stroller (this is not a complaint, just an observation). The fan itself is nearly 5" across, and the 3 flexible legs are about 7" each. This is a pretty good size little fan, and it moves a good amount of air - very effectively, even at the lowest speed. I was again a bit surprised, if only because the lowest speed would be blowing fairly strongly towards a little one (if used on a stroller, depending, of course, on how closely it was tethered to it).I really like this thing, and I don't have a little in a stroller any longer. Got it to actually attach to a new treadmill that has a meager, sad excuse for a fan (to be clear - the one built in to the treadmill is useless). But THIS fan is great! It's quiet, it charges quickly via USB-C, it displays its current charge level. There's so much to like!I don't really get the speeds - a button on the top cycles up and down between each of 5 speeds (which are oddly labeled as 1, 30, 60, 90 and 120 (not sure why they didn't just use 1-5, but whatever, it works great). After selecting your desired speed, which is numerically displayed on the digital face of this little fan (along with the current battery charge), if you leave it be for a few seconds, the face everyone talks about on Amazon shows up!So I have to talk about the little face - I hadn't realized it was a digital face I guess? Even if it was designed to possibly entertain a child in a stroller, the little face is really kind of cute... and cheery! It blinks at you every few seconds while it's displayed. The instructions indicate that if you leave it on for a bit, the face will turn off until you touch another button. I was enjoying it just a bit too much to be able to leave it alone for that long. Just be aware that the side of the fan you might think is the front (because it looks like it, with a protective cover to keep hands out) is actually the back, and the black disk on the other side is the digital display - and friendly face! And one more thing I really like about this - there are no button beeps when turning it on/off or switching between settings - a nice feature if maybe using it near someone who is sleeping, or if you're just tired of so many things beeping during your day.The legs are super strong, and very grippy, and seem to grab onto just about anything they can wrap around. Overall, a quality product, with some fun built in, and who couldn't use some fun in their day, especially when it comes with a nice breeze!

I wanted a portable and smaller fan for travel. This fits the bill in every way. Took about an hour and a half to charge 30% so probably takes about 6 hours to charge to full. The fan is quieter than I expected, and pushes a decent amount of air. You're not going to blow down a house with it, but it's nice on a desk or table.Really not a fan of the face. I thought maybe it was a sticker based on the pictures in the description. Nope. It's part of the little LCD display, and I can't find a way to turn it off. Hopefully it doesn't scare your kids if you use it for a stroller. I'm going to break out some electrical tape to cover it personally.

This octopus stroller fan is such a great idea to keep a child/baby cool in the summer time. It seems to be very well made and feels very substantial. It comes with the fan, the "legs", a USB-C charging cable and instructions. The legs are what you twist around the bars of the stroller to keep it in place. When you first turn it on, it will show what percentage it is charged, then it switches to the first power level of 01. If you short press the power button, it changes the fan level to the next level of 30, press it again for 60, then 90, then 120. To reduce the fan power level, you press the minus button. It is absolutely adorable with a happy face that blinks at you every few seconds, and it comes in 7 different colors. It is very easy to use and at the same time it is very powerful. I am thinking that I will not only use this for a stroller but also when I'm at the pool or beach or anywhere else I can think of using it. I highly recommend this stroller fan!
