KUANYUOO All-Metal handle with cable suitable for most of the recliner furniture brand. Please check the original handle & cable size before buying.
Only takes a few minutes to install the All-Metal handle & cable with a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers.
Step 1: Remove the handle screws with a screwdriver from the side of the recliner, gently pull/pry the broken handle assembly out.
Step 2: Remove the "Z/S" cable end from the recliner mechanism. Then pinch the retaining clip where the cable is mounted and remove it.
Step 3: Replace the new handle & cable kit, connect the cable "Z/S" end into the recliner mechanism, insert the cable mounting bracket. OK, you can adjust Exposed length now, for more perfect fit your mechanism.
Step 4: Tighten the screws and complete the recliner handle cable replacement easily!

My sofa stopped reclining and I thought the cable broke. But I discovered that it wasn’t the cable. It was the cheap plastic handle. I won’t have that same problem with this metal one. It feels very sturdy.

I can't believe how much of an upgrade this KUANYUOO handle is over the flimsy plastic ones that came on my sofa. When my original plastic handle finally gave out, I knew I needed a replacement because I was unable to recline my sofa. This all-metal handle feels incredibly solid and well-made, and it gives me confidence that it's going to last for years to come.The installation was a breeze, and the handle operates so much more smoothly than the original. used to replace a broken plastic recliner release...this metal one appears to be much more sturdy than the plastic..it was installed in less than 10 minutes...best let a person who know about it do the installation...reclines fully and works as new

The original was made out of plastic and broke where the wire attaches to the handle. This replacement is made from metal and is solidly built. I was able to install it myself after watching a 5 minute video on YouTube. It works great!

Ordered two of these to replace a broken one. Our originals were plastic and this metal construction feels much sturdier and should last much longer.
