Just aim at the target and fire whether you're 5 feet or 50 feet away. The rebounder's surface area--which measures 4 by 3 feet--can also be used for such sports as softball or baseball.

About STX
STX is the world's leading manufacturer of men's and women's lacrosse sticks and protective gear, including gloves, padding, and women's eyegear. No matter what the product, STX is driven by the same philosophy that spurs every innovation: to create the highest-quality, most-cutting-edge lacrosse equipment available and enable players to reach peak performance on the playing field. This, in turn, raises the standard of play and the specter of America's oldest game and fastest-growing team sport.

STX's history traces back to the early 1960s, when the STX founders--lacrosse players themselves--began experimenting with synthetic materials to create a lighter and more resilient stick. Traditional wooden lacrosse sticks were difficult to manufacture, poorly balanced, and hard to maneuver, and often broke due to the physical demands of the game. STX's earliest sticks, by contrast, had a solid double-walled head made of Dupont Adiprene urethane rubber affixed to a hickory shaft. Although crude by today's standards, STX's first synthetic stick went a long way in solving the biggest problems facing the sport. Each stick was now the same weight, balance, and flexibility, because they were made from the same material and same mold every time. In the years since, STX has pioneered nearly every equipment innovation in the game, including such head advancements as the straight double-wall head, the mesh pocket, the pinched sidewall head, and the forward canted head; such gear improvements as the aluminum handle, the composite handle, and the offset handle; and a host of glove and goggle enhancements.

The product arrived with no instruction and no bolts or screws. It appeared to have been previously used as there were some scratches on the poles. It was a birthday gift for my grandson so I decided not to return it due to the size and weight (too much for me to handle). After two trips to my local hardware store to purchase the right size screws ($30 dollars later) we were able to figure out how to assemble it. The product itself is very nice but after spending over $200 for it (and then having to buy my own bolts) I was very disappointed in how it was shipped.

This bounce back lasted for about six months before the trampoline deteriorated and the springs began to break off from the attachments. While the frame is still strong and intact, the product became useless and potentially dangerous, as springs broke off from the frame.

Got this last summer and it has really improved my son's lacrosse game, especially throwing on his weak side and behind the back. The Bounce Back is very well made and should last for years if you don't leave it outside all winter. When leaving it out I would suggest using a rust inhibitor on the metal parts as they can rust/pit over time. Definitely recommend to others.

This thing is ENORMOUS! When I ordered it, I had no idea of the size but it is fantastic! My husband was out of town and my son was desperate to play, so I sucked it up and finally got it put together. Easy enough, with only a few minor injuries. :) BUT I couldn't lift it to carry it outside! I am 5'2" and my husband is 6'1"...this is easily 4" taller than my husband. It finally made its way outside, and this has been the best thing EVER! The quality is fantastic...and STURDY! We live in Florida and have had several storms recently that have blown over LARGE plants and bird feeders, but the bounce back stands strong! If you're looking for a bounce-back, this will not disappoint!

Got this for my son who plans on trying out for high school lacrosse team. Have had it for 2 months and so far has held up nicely; Came packaged securely and with all parts inside. The company has an online video on how to assemble that I watched several times before I started, also brought the laptop outside so I could refer back to the video if needed. You will DEFINITELY need 2 people to put this together. My two 15-year olds helped me. After watching the video and looking over the directions (pretty clear cut), we put it together in about 20 minutes (probably would have been closer to 35 if I didn't have 2 helpers!). I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because you have to keep tightening up the handle (not the right word) used to raise of lower the angle, not a huge issue but a pain if he forgets to check it as it's fallen a few times. All in all, happy with this purchase.

I recently purchased the STX rebounder after trying a cheaper product. Don't waste your time on the cheaper products. This is worth the extra money. The STX rebounder is a high quality, well constructed rebounder for all ages....beginners to college players. It is made just like a trampoline with high tension springs and an heavy duty mat. It is similar to the Brine Rebounder, but it is arguably made with heavier duty materials. The STX rebounder performs exactly as advertised. The product alone merits 5 stars, but the STX customer service was great. We unpacked our rebounder, set it up, and realized one of the support poles had put a small tear in the trampoline mat during shipping. We were able to use it, but we were concerned it would grow into a larger rip over time. We took a picture of the rip, called customer service, and emailed the picture to customer service after describing the issue. The customer service rep talked to her supervisor and within an hour emailed us back to say they were sending us a new rebounder. All we had to do was print the return shipping label and pack up the original rebounder. It was a painless process. STX was awesome to deal with.

For starters, this is a much better buy than the Brine bounceback. This consistently returns balls at the same rate, whereas the brine bounceback (which many of you may have been leaning towards due to the lower price) deadens over time, making it progressively harder to pass and catch off of it. This is also far more durable and weatherproof than the Brine bounceback. I've left this out in the snow and the rain, and it's still like new, and has no rips. My teammate purchased the Brine bounceback, and it is falling apart (fraying, rusted, full of holes). This bounceback can be easily adjusted to most desired angles, and is made of and braced by steel piping, making it incredibly durable. Unlike the cheaper, elastic-mesh version that STX makes, passes against this bounceback are returned quickly and accurately (Accurately here meaning that passes aren't returned at an angle. This is because of the solid face of this version). The excellence of this product is the reason it is used by me, by my township and by the schools of local towns' lacrosse programs. It is worth every penny.

The STX bounce back works great for Lacrosse practice, my son loves it. We don't have a wall near by, so this is great for him to practice on his own. The ball bounces back great. It is not too loud when the ball hits the target, you hear the springs rattle some, but it is better than throwing against a wood target that we used before. It was affordable and the shipping was free. It is just the right size and can fold flat for storage. Assembly was not too bad, I put it together myself, but would have been easier with 2 people. Just had to use a rubber hammer to tap the front stand into the target frame, the back stand slid in with no problem. It is still new, so hopefully it will wear well over time. We are very happy with this purchase.
