My son has used this stick in 3 games. We replaced his STX head because the first one worked so well and he was used to it; however this one cracked at our game last night. We have a modified season and only have a few games and I'm desperate. I am gluing it because my area does not even have a lacrosse store. I would love a replacement head as soon as possible and am happy to send you a picture of the issue.

Do not buy from STX. Two in a row and they do not offer to help. The D-head broke and I was promised this one would work. Never broke any other head. They said they would send a new one for the previous order and never did. After months, I got a tracking number showing a 500 mile miss. They said to start over on warranty. Prior to this run around, a friend said the color of the head matters and white is strong due to lack of dye??? Whatever, I could not wait for the replacement so I purchased the white one. Broke again!! I am sure its a bad batch of plastic but they should stand by the warranty.

We are just finish 2 months of lacrosse but never had a head break (previous versions seem to just got all warped out of shape but never broke)

My son has also been using Hammer heads for several seasons and never had one break (had some warp a bit from checks..but not break). He has been using the new Enduraform Hammer this season and it broke just 5 games into the season on a check. It has been sent back to STX, but he is out a head in the meantime. Not a fan of the new material.

I have been a big fan of STX heads; however, we have had numerous problems since they have switched to the Enduraform. My son has been exclusively using the Hammer for the past 5-6 years from youth onto club and high school lacrosse. In all that time, he has never broken a Hammer until the EnduraForm. This year, he has broken 3 heads in the span of 6 weeks. STX has been good and replaced them under warranty; however, the time to unstring and restring them does not go unnoticed not to mention the expense to ship them back to STX HQ. If the problem persists, we will be trying out different D heads.
