1.Make sure Tablets is powered on.
2. Open the Active Stylus package to have a check. Pressand hold the power button for 1 second to enter thewriting mode. LED light will be on in working mode.
3. The red LED indicates low battery. When the battery isfully charged, LED will change the color. Active Stylus willbe off when the pen is idle.
4. It can be used for about 80 hours after charged 20minutes. It can be fully charged for charging 1 hour.
5. Active Stylus is equipped with an intelligent powermanagement system that can switches to the optimizedpower-saving mode and detects voltages automatically:
① It will switch to power-saving mode after 10-minutesidle.
② Press any button can wake up from the power savingmode.
6. Active Stylus can be charged directly with the USB-C of mobile phones or tablets.

Good replacement for a surface pen. It charged very quickly and lasts a really long time so it does not hinder me when doing work on my computer. The included usb-c cable is just long enough to connect it and have it sit next to your computer while it charges. It connects easily but i have found it sometimes it lags and disconnects for a second. It feels comfortable to hold and because it does not fit into the keyboard pen slot, the carrying case works well to carry it while in a backpack so it does not get lost while it is just stuck to the side of the computer.

Needed an extra stylus and this has fit the bill. Connects and chargers quickly. Decent battery time .

This was bought to be used with my SURFACE GO 2. It has NOT once connected/paired once, not once. This was a waste of my money. DISAPPOINTED!!
