This specific bolt rusted out on my 2009 Subaru impreza. GOOD LUCK finding this at the auto parts store. I was so close to just going to Home Depot or Lowes and trying to find a bolt that was "close enough," but was worried about the thread pattern and length, especially considering that this is for brakes. Luckily, I found the part number on Subaru's website, plugged it into the amazon search, and it is an exact match!

Ok Guys/Gals let me try to ease your minds as to whether or not these are what you need. My application is a 2004 Subaru Outback Limited. These bolts are an exact match to the factory bolts that mount your Front Caliper Bracket to the Strut Assembly, in fact they come with Subaru Factory Labels on each one. Now I'm not sure the pitch of the threads but they are very fine and the head of the bolt requires a 17mm tool to fit. Check my picture for its application. And you get ONE bolt per package. You need 2 for each wheel, a total of 4- front, 4- rear. Anytime you remove the caliper from its mount you should use a new bolt for reassembly.Hope this helps y'all!

I had a hard time removing my front caliper bracket bolts on my 2016 Subaru Forester. I purchased these to replace the old ones. Clean threads, no issues torquing to spec.

A bit pricey but worth every penny. I wish I had them before I broke the first one.As soon as the first one broke I stopped the rotor job and just put pads in until I got 4 new bolts delivered.I'm glad I did because I broke 3 out of 4 of them on my front brakes. I priced caliper brackets and decided to spring for new calipers with brackets instead.

this bolt holds the front brake caliper bracket in place.. it’s the bolt that a 17mm socket fits around (it also has a number 9 on it. As seen in the photo) not sure why amazon says it doesn’t fit my vehicle but I took the chance anyways. There’s two Of these bolts on the driver side and Two on the passenger side. I needed this in an emergency and the seller was incredibly fast with shipping and I just want you to know that it meant the world to me. Thank you very much. This will fit your subaru forester 2009-2012

Bolts worked great. I was doing brakes on my new to me Forester. All of the caliper bracket bolts were rusty, and one of them snapped ( had to cut the bracket in half to get it off!!)These were a life saver for me! No one locally had the bolts, and my local hardware stores didn't have anything that was close.Bolts are OEM and worked great!

This listing said that it fit my 2003 outback but did not specify front or rear. I could have verified it IF this listing had included the bolt dimensions. I received two bolts that DO NOT fit the rear but MIGHT fit the front of the vehicle. I later purchased the right size and grade bolts and lock washers from Autozone where I could measure them. I recommend that others do the same.
