I was servicing a furnace and replaced The high limit switch out of caution. The new one made it 24 hours and then got stuck open. A tap with the screwdriver got it to close, but I don’t trust it, this was with the furnace dead cold.

I have a Suburban Rv furnace, it would shut off and lockout during the night intermittently. I have to turn the switch off/on before it resets. The last limit switch was a cheap one I got last spring to replace one that quit all together.But this one is the real deal. The limit switch turns the propane off and on to keep from running too hot and cause a fire. But if the limit switch don't turn back on in 3 minutes, it shuts down and locks out. A safety deal.This limit switch is rated at 175 F, and it does that blowing nice hot air for a quick warm up.This part is easy to install, taking the rear cover off with two screws, the limit switch is right behind the cover.Sometimes paying a little more is worth it.

My RV furnace worked sporadically. I replaced it with this and a sail switch. No more issues, and I live full time in the RV. No more shutting off in the middle of the night in 0-20 degree weather.

I have a 1997 Nash with a Coleman heater and this part worked perfectly. Easy swap out for the original. I bought 2 and keep one in the camper in case it goes out again. Great find!

Screwed into place where the old one was and had our rv furnace up and running! It is taller than the factory one which maybe a problem over a few years but only time will tell
