I have been growing things for a long time and these collars are great for cloning. I do not use the baskets and just use these like a cork in the aqua cloning apparatus I built.

While I “think” this may be a good thing in the long term, so far it’s been really tight on the plant stems. I think I just need to snip out more of the center as the plants get larger.
