These brushes are much thinner than what you’d get at a hardware store. They do work fine for small paint/varnish applications though, and they’re cheap, so i think they’re a good buy.

These aren't ready-to-use paintbrushes as depicted. They arrive in pieces, which don't fit together, so now I'll need to go buy some glue if I actually want to use them. Also, they are compressed, with instructions to soak in water to restore their shape. A lot of effort for a disposable item, so I'll probably toss them and just stop by the Dollar Tree!

I was really looking forward to using these brushes to touch up paint in my apartment. To assemble the brush you have to screw the foam head on a stick, there are two sizes.. a good 1/2 wouldn’t stay screwed on mostly the smaller size . My guess just drilled one size hole in the stick handle. Wouldn’t buy again
