I was building a small home so I got the 24 inch version of this and it looked beautiful!Exactly what I wanted in terms of how it should look. The finish was very nice and the metal panels, top and doors seemed substantial.Ok, now for how it works. It doesn’t!I got this stove almost five years ago (September 2019) and the first things I noticed were that the oven light didn’t work and it was not the bulb. Also the trim around the oven window was falling off and one of the door hinges was broken. They sent someone to install a new door and fix the light. The wiring for the light had never been connected. Once that was done the light worked.Then I started using it and discovered that none of the elements ever heated up properly in terms of temperature and reliability. I thought perhaps the elements were of a poor quality so I went out and bought new elements. Nope! Didn’t make the least bit of difference. And the elements both original and new would pop up making an uneven surface for lighter pots - not to mention the fact that it just looked stupid with them sticking up. That was clearly a poor design.Heating would sometimes just quit in the middle of cooking and adjusting the temp with the knobs was hit or miss. I had to stand there to see how hot high was going to be this time or if the burner was going to quit entirely. Loads of fun!The only thing that worked properly was the oven. I could get a predictable temperature and things came out as expected. Yay! Then about six months ago I was baking with my granddaughter and she says “what’s that light in the oven?”I ran over and the bottom element had caught fire 🔥 More fun!Well the broiler still worked as expected and it’s amazing what you can accomplish with a working broiler.So today I received my new stove. It cost less than the Summit (which was almost 1k) and it’s a bit more lightweight but it actually works!!It’s a convection oven, the racks and runners are much smoother and it has additional features.I immediately tested all four burners and the oven just to make sure it was a good one. I can boil a full kettle of water in under 8 minutes - instead of waiting 30 plus minutes for it to attempt to boil.I thought it was just me but I recently came across other reviews that mentioned disconnected wires and other problems.Because of this experience, I would never buy another summit stove and I cannot recommend them.

working with kart it..they are the sales people if they are selling something that is inferior to that is up to them..not going to pay high price for inferior product..and unsafe wiring electrical..they might concreter who they sell for in the future..someone should be accountable..I purchased in good faith and very disappointed..and not going to pay for something that is not what was promised..

Love this stove. I purchased this one because I'm remodeling and wanted to do a accent wall behind the stove with a backsplash. Just how I imagined
