I need to vent. I have never ever seen an object so poorly designed. This thing is unusable, the controls are cryptic, and when you can make it do what you want it fails to microwave or bake as well as a $30 off the shelf version of either appliance. It takes forever to cook anything and then always burns it. I make my friends try and figure out how to use the controls as a laugh. Whoever designed this should be ashamed- any professional who has studied the basics of good design would throw this in the trash. It feels like it was made by children as a school project. This product is an affront to the mere concepts of design, engineering, and sales.

My CMV24 unit has had problems since it was installed. The factory warranty is 90 days but you have to return the unit to NY. After that too bad. The oven never came up to temperature, and I didn't discover just how low it was until after 90 days. No time to bake when you're moving into a new house. The microwave turntable jammed up and a replacement little spider thing was $45! The microwave quit. A service call was $95 for the first 30 minutes. Took the unit out and paid an authorized service place to diaganose it. That cost $85. Just got a call, the unit requires a control board, wiring harness, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember all. This thing is brand new! Summit is crap. Poor quality control. Stay away.

So this is clearly a love it or hate it item. I'd say I love it, but have to agree the control touch screen is a bit out of date. my main complaint is that the controls don't light up until you touch the screen and by then you have activated something. With time, I've learned my way around and this is pretty magic. Cooks Fast, VERY adjustable and if you are lazy there are auto buttons.I looked ffar and wide when i built my house. Didn't have commercial equipment budget but did want a built-in that looked "right" This fit, easy to install, ha, my cabinet installer did it, and works great. What would i improve? Better touch screen. but then why not throw in WiFi-enabled so i can start it from the car. LOLNow if only they made a self-cleaning version, i'd give it 5 stars. I appreciated the reviews when I was looking, and how this helps someone on the fence.

Specs are right on the Amazon page. Though it has been said that this is a European "rebadge" or that there is no info available, I went to the manufacturers website and found this description of the Summit Brand:"Company HistoryFelix Storch, Inc., (FSI) was founded in 1969 and has been a leading supplier of specialty, professional, commercial, and medical refrigerators and freezers, as well as cooking appliances ever since. In our first year, we trademarked the Summit Appliance® brand name and began our distribution in Long Island City, New York. In 1983, needing additional room for expansion, we moved our headquarters and operations to the Bronx. In 1998 we purchased our current HQ building in the Bronx, where our manufacturing, operations, back office, and distribution are all located. To accommodate our continued growth, in the 2008-2009 period we added state-of-the-art warehouse facilities in Edison, New Jersey, and purchased a building in Wallingford, Connecticut, housing our fabrication facility, bringing our total property for product development, manufacturing, and warehousing to nearly 300,000 square feet. Our products now include a wide range of major appliances sold both nationally and internationally and delivered to the Northeastern United States using our own FSI trucks. In 2015, FSI, achieved ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification, an internationally recognized quality management standard. Despite our expansion, we remain a private, family-owned business with no outside investors." I for one m excited to get my new oven and will post as to it's performance as soon as it is installed. People shouldn't post reviews that aren't backed with any research!

Controls are totally poor. The touch screen is ancient and not workable. Very displeased with this expensive looser

I ike the look and the description of this item; HOWEVER - sinceAmazon offers no details about the item - e.g. actual installation dimensions (hello, it's a built in and needs to fit), weight, power requirements, etc., it's just a billboard for a product not a useful platform for evaluating if the product will work for me in my actual situation.
