Built like a tank. Mounting holes differed from supplied instructions. Instructions only showed 4 holes. Backplate had about 14 at an inch apart. Instructions said to use Top and Bottom set (of the 4 holes). Needed to use Top and 13th (2nd from bottom set) in reality with the articulating arm. That's pretty minor. Drilling perpendicular holes in cement is a bit of a challenge. Don't have a level on my drill. Holes were in right place, but bolts were all at slightly different angles. Got 7 of 9 to align with some gentle bending with a hammer. If you have cash and a Sunbrite unit, I'd recommend going with their Tech all the way: TV, Pole, Articulating Arm, Wireless Reciever. It's a premium price, but a solid product. You won't be disapointed. (I picked up a few of the items refurbished from various vendors for a total cost that equaled a New TV itself).Other thoughts: The outer packaging on this will likely be decimated in transit, but the steel pole will be bubble wrapped and completely undamaged. That's fine (I guess) because the goal of packaging is to protect the contents... not to arrive in prestine condition. Because the welded base is 6" wider than the pole on all sides, this ships as something like a 58lb box that is mostly hollow around the pole. Because of the weight of this, all FedEx and UPS carriers tend to lay this at the bottom of the truck laying longways. Because only the base is big, package will crush and ear around around the bubble-wrapped pole. This wouldn't have been much of an error, but the vendor I used actually shipped 2 of these to me by mistake (Warehouse error). I had to return one as a courtesy. Took a lot of tape, Frankenstein box corners, and palate wrap (which I happened to have) to prep for return. This should never be an issue. I'm happy with the pole itself.
