The colors are nice; not too bright yet not dull. The thickness of the paper is not heavy duty but seems it should stand up to normal home use, and they brighten what would otherwise be a dull, boring office space.My first gripe, and it is minor, is that the scoring for the accommodation of thicker files is on the shorter side of the file. I would prefer it to be either equally on both sides, or on the wider side so that the creases can be bent to make the top (non-tabbed) edges line up with each other. As it is, and because this minor thing is kind of major to me; I will have to score lines alongside the spine on the wider side.My 2nd gripe: If you can buy a larger package of these, I would, because this one did not have equal numbers of each tab for each color. Again, probably a minor gripe for most if it's even a blip on your radar, but pretty annoying to me.Overall, I recommend these to people who are not especially detail-oriented/obsessed.

Sturdy cardboard. Vibrant colors. Tabs come up to a good height to be easily seen. I used them in hanging file folders to organize.

Finally used these folders, they work fine for organizing my papers.Assorted colors, I think 6 colors but if you fold them the other way you get 12 colors. There not too thick but they are fine.
