I did not have a T70 (large) in my "standard" torx / star bit set. This T70 is needed to remove the Subaru plug. I get that torx / star is "better", but they are not a common size or common type of socket you can just buy anywhere. Local auto parts stores wanted over twice the price for this single bit or ten times the price for a set that included this T70 size. This Subaru will probably be the only vehicle I ever use this T70 size on, so I just bought this single one. It will end up in my toolbox drawer with all the other weird bit sizes that automakers seem to randomly choose.

I couldn't get the Subaru manual transmission drain plug to budge with a two foot breaker bar. Put this T70 on my impact wrench and it was off in seconds. I have only used it the once, but the quality seems good.

This bit was used for the manual transmission drain plug bolt on a Subaru. Buy the size specified in your model's factory service manual. DYODD.The drain bolt head is soft metal and must be cleaned well to ensure a snug fit. For example use dishsoap and warm water and an old toothbrush. Tap the bit _gently_ to seat it in the bolt, and apply pressure to the knuckle of the breaker bar making sure it doesn't slip out.I've buggered up many bolts in my career trying to cheap out. This tool really is the cheaper and easier way.
