This is a rock solid socket, so I'm keeping it for other jobs. But I wanted to point out, the fat, 3/4in drive on this socket will not clear the frame rail and allow the socket to fit flush on the crank bolt for a 1996 Accord LX. Specifically the 2.2l non-vtech 4-cyl F22B2. Granted, most of the other Honda's have more clearance to this bolt and I'm confident this socket would crush the job if it could sit flush. Instead, you'll need the toughest, thinnest 1/2in drive 19mm you can find. In at least 3.5in of length. I took the car to a pro after this socket started twisting the head off my crank bolt. Again, my fault - it wouldn't sit flush and I should have just aborted.

I have a new set of solid chrome lug nuts on my Jeep and hate to beat them up with my super powerful impact gun, so my solution is a 24-inch 3/4" drive breaker bar and this 3/4" drive 19mm deep wall socket. The deep wall takes in the entire length of the lug nut so torque is evenly applied to the entire lug nut. This combination can handle over 300 plus ft-lb and my lug nuts on my Jeep were only torqued to 120 ft-lb so it is a piece of cake to remove and reinstall them.

I ordered three 3/4 drive deep impact sockets (all Sunex), in 19, 21, and 35mm sizes to fill in a boxed set of 3/4 drive deep impact sockets to do some heavy duty work on my two cars. They are all exactly what I needed with no defects, and are performing the work I needed them for.

I just realized that the socket I received is not the one shown in the picture. The one I received steps down to a smaller diameter on the working end. That's no problem at all but I just thought I would mention it so someone thinking about buying this is aware of this. The tool would be slightly weaker than one that doesn't step down but this should be no issue in use. It appears to be very well-made and I have confidence that it will last virtually forever.
