medium strength. I am using it for my sewing items (scissors, needles, rotary cutter, etc .) next to my sewing machine. it work great and best of all it helps keeping me organized. I purchased another one for my sewing area.

I bought to use as a place to put my sockets while working u see the hood of a car. It has small patches that are magnetic and doesn’t work well for smaller items

Works great to keep small hardware or small tools. Just keep it on the side of my toolbox or stick it to top of the fender or other under hood areas. Works great would recommend and plan on getting some more of these.

But, it much smaller than expected... After seeing similar items being used by some of my colleagues, I thought to try one. Having purchased lots of Sunex tools, for their quality and value, I was expecting a good quality tool, which it is, but it's soooooo small that just a couple of wrenches take up all of its surface.I'm nor returning it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Overall, the product works. I would have liked to see either more magnets or larger ones. With the current setup there are "dead spots" that won't hold anything. I would buy another one if I needed it. Would just have liked to see more usable magnetic surface.

Out of the box it looked and felt like just a nice pad but I couldn't feel any magnets. So.. I put it vertically against a tool cabinet and it immediately stuck to the side. No noise, just nice and smooth. Then I went and got a heavy duty 18" adjustable wrench and put that up against it. Stuck solid as pretty as you please. Well done Sunex!
