I am giving this a five as I have only used it once and may use it 2 or three more times to change out the ball on my trailer hitch. If I intended to use it any more, I would get a 3/4" or 1 inch drive. The socket is tough as nails but the 1/2" drive is too small to handle the torque. That said, I am grateful for the 1/2" drive as I am not going to be upgrading my impact drive.

Purchased this to get the bottom element off my Marathon water heater. The water heater wrench at the store would not get it off. This worked well and was a able to bite the small amount of the element nut that was exposed.

It's not easy finding a 1 7/8" socket in a 1/2" drive. This socket was a good price, quick delivery and had the large RV hitch ball off in 5 min after receiving the socket! It seems to be decent quality...it took a little over 400 ft/lb of torque to break the hitch ball nut loose and no problem. Of course, that's not a huge amount of torque for an impact socket but it performed as needed.

Very nice socket, well made, packaged well. I really like the hex of the socket goes all the way in, allows things like hydraulic fittings and such to set all the way in for positive engagement on the hex without damaging threads. Nice laser engraving of size, also stamped if any ever happens to the engraving.
