This angle die grinder is a little more money than the cheaper ones found on Amazon, however, it preforms as well as the high end grinders such as a Snap-On or MActools. This grinder is .4 HP, giving it twice as much power as the $60-$100 grinder. It does not stall out under heavy use. The regular lets you vary the speed, as well as the trigger, so you get great control. In the hand, it is a little heavier than my old one, but feels more comfortable. This could have come with an insert and backing pad, instead it does not. I recommend this unit.

Best air tool I've ever had and I bought the straight one. I would never buy anything else but this I've had top end and I've had low end. They never last. We'll see how long this goes but never had an issue. Cut steel like butter, a bird's amazing, Nice and quiet

Wow. I’ve been using the cheap (disposable) Chinese die grinders for years. Finally bucked up and bought this one based on YouTube comparisons to the snap on and aircat. Yes, the snap on gets the highest praises but this one comes in a close 2nd. After using it extensively today, all I can say is.... get it. So nice, smooth, quiet and powerful. I had no idea a die grinder could be so much different from the cheap ones. It’s like a different tool!

Bought this and a carbide burr tip to grind out a hard to reach rusted muffler bolt and it worked well. Seems to be well made. now finding other uses for it in the garage with polishing attachments etc.

Wanted a 90° die grinder for tight spaces (mostly shallower rims that cause me to scrape my knuckles on the top bead when I'm resurfacing them)So surprised at the quality of the hd version in comparison to my Bluepoint 120°! This grinder is far quieter, has significantly less run-out at the collet end, which translates to much less user fatigue over time.

I've had other brand die grinders in this price range but this one beats them all. It has plenty of power for work in this range of grinders. It has an air/speed control if you need it but it's speed is easily controlled by the lever. The safety latch on the lever is a bit over kill and you really have to move it to unlatch the control lever. Noise is similar to others I have used and it has a rear air exit. The composite handle/tool cover gives you a good grip. I greased the head just in case the factory was a little shy when assembling and it took very little. Two wrenches are provided to tighten your 1/4 inch tool accessories. Nice tool for lighter duty work with a 2 year warranty. If wondering, the box has made in Taiwan.

it seems well made . And its a little on the heavy side for a die grinder. I was surprised how quiet it ran . One thing to note is that compaired to other grinders I have seen it is a little bigger making it hard to get in to tight spaces . I also noticed how much more torque this has compaired to my old unit and while it does turn slower ( rated at 1800 rpm ) it serves well with my cut off wheel.I tried it cutting off a piece of exhast pipe , went thru like butter with out locking up the grinder . Another nice thing is the adjustable speed control knob on top of the unit soone could use the trigger at wide open and fine adjust your speed if that is of any interest

I mostly use a die grinder with Scotch Brite pads for rust removal. The variable speed works well for this application. Your hand isn't frozen after a few minutes of use because the housing Is made of a composite material. The tool appears to be well built. Previously purchased cheap die grinders fell apart for no good reason and I was not able to find parts. The Sunex grinder has plenty of power and it consumes less air than other grinders that are the same size.
