install the 4000W 24V split phase 220V inverter approximately 3 month after receiving it.It came in good condition considering that it was an international purchase. The packaging was solid. Everything was in the box and as described.I was able to handle the issues that arise using the instruction manual. Now i have approximately 75% of my resident onsolar generated electricity including washing machine, toaster ovens, chest freezer and refrigerator, smart TVs etc. power tools such as power saw, grinder, drills.and accessories such as water pump. I am a proud first time DIY at solar PV. .With the experience i have with the 4KW split phase inverter I would recommend it.

I bought this inverter from the SUNGOLD website direct to take advantage of a sale that they were having but caught them when they were out of stock and simultaneously closed for the Chinese New Year celebration. After some back and forth communication they apprised me of the situation and offered me a bigger machine, but I stuck with the 4KW and waited until they were back in stock.I am very happy with the result. You can see from my installation that it makes a clean system for backing up my power here in Texas. We have been having problems with power outages - you might have heard - and I wanted to have a system that would keep my lights and a few high-priority circuits active and covered for an hour or two. In my case, I think that the system will actually keep my priority circuits alive for about 6-8 hours, but I just want lights for the first hour or two while I hook up the backup generator to run the well, freezers, and swimming pool (in case it is freezing again). The inverter has a ton of optionality and an easy-to-understand User Interface. I did not use the remote controller since the entire system is in a hall closet easy to access.I decided to use AGM batteries instead of Lithium for cost reasons and due to the fact that I don't expect a lot of cycles, and certainly not deep ones.
