Great paint palette

This pallet has slots for 24 paint colors, and I had just purchased a package of 20 0.5ml tubes of watercolor paint. What I didn’t know, and soon discovered on YouTube, you’re supposed to squeeze those colors into the pallet and let them dry out. A few drops of water reactivates the paint whenever you want to use it again. So this pallet had enough slots for all of my paint plus what feels like a ton of mixing areas. I know it’s working out great for me, and the best part is I just fold it closed, throw it in my bag and forget about it till I’m ready to paint again. It really couldn’t be simpler for a rank beginner like myself. I purchased this on a whim because it looked so fancy, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed, how cool is that? Thank you Amazon for the great selection, at great prices, every time I go hunting for anything! I do so love my online shopping trips!

For my water coloring, this is the only palette I will ever use. I have several of them and find them to be so convenient. When you first get it, however, you may need to rub some of the finish off so that your colors don’t bead up when mixing in the center blending area, which can be annoying but an easy fix. Just use a Mr. Clean sponge on them. It’s a great value and you won’t regret it. It holds all of my colors and is very portable. When I’m done painting typically, if I’m traveling and I need to fold it up and put it in my bag and put it in my bag, I just use a paper towel to soak up any extra water that might leak out but if I’m home, I just lay it out overnight for everything to dry up and then you can fold it up and put it away.

The palette is a very good size and holds the water color paint in each well. My rating is because it is very hard to mix color on the shiny plastic surface.

Item was broken when I received it. The 2 sections do not snap together to close.It’s not worth my time to return it.

Cheap and flimsy plastic

After researching pallets these are far the best for a few reasons. Price- they are cheep. (I now have 5 of them). I Love how the wells are larger to give your brush some good space. There are 33 wells. 28 for paints, 5 for mixing. There is a reason I see many artist use these. Also a YouTube tip I learned…you a nailed buffer, file or light sand paper, and run it over all the inside of the wells just enough to take the smooth glossy layer off the plastic so your paints don’t bead up. Then wash with a little warm soaping water, dry and get ready to start setting up your new pallet which is always so exciting.
