Shipping was crap, like almost 2 weeks late crap. Other than that the product is fine.

The riser handlebar allows you to ride in a more up right position which is more comfortable for your lower back. Great value for the money. I highly recommend this product.

The Sunlite Steel handlebars was the perfect fit for my vintage Stumpjumper, I initially wanted some BMX bars but wanted to keep the period correct stem that was already on there so I needed to find something without a crossbar and these fit the bill, I opted for the 5" rise for a comfortable position and the 27.5" width was perfect, I typically buy lightweight components but steel soaks up the road chatter better than aluminum because it's not as stiff so I'll take the extra 8oz weight penalty as a trade-off for all the advantages it offers, anyway the design is spot-on, they look great feel great & you can't beat the price point unless you're willing to get something that has a case of the uglies.

Sturdy! I had to shorten mine a bit, but it's worth it. Good price, good quality and fast shipping. Thanks!

For the price, the weight and finish of this handlebar was very reasonable. Although I returned it for a lower rise set after realizing these were too high, I can recommend this pair if you are looking for a good part at a decent price. They are much lighter than I expected for a steel bar. The finish is consistent and the bend radii are smooth. The shape does not have a lot of sweep to it, so the primary effect is to raise the hand position. This will be more comfortable if you are wanting to carry less of your weight on your hands. But the lack of sweep means that the actual reach to the grips may more extended and therefore not as comfortable. If you want less weight on your hands AND a more upright position, I woul suggest a pair with more backsweep.

What a difference in how my wrists feel after installing the Sunlite MTB 3.5" rise handlebars! I installed and used it today. The bar is slightly wider which helped with my broad shoulders. My grip feels more natural and it doesn't feel like the bar is eating my wrists as compared to the original bar that came on my Mongoose Mack MTB. I can ride longer without hurting. Definitely worth the money to change over to the Sunlite MTB handlebars. The bars fit perfectly and were easy to install. The quality is great on the handlebars. The handlebars look like they came on the bike and not out of place. I highly recommend these if you are having pain in your wrists and need that little extra reach.

Love the handlebar! It's awesome! I bought this handlebar with the intention of improving my posture and allowing me up be a lot higher up than my previous Handlebar which was a flat handlebar from huffy, which intially I wish I replaced in the first place but didn't have the money at the time for. I am really happy, with it. I watched a video recently and they mentioned if you slouch forward a lot than as you get older it causes you to have back problems and later on creates a back hump so in turn it making one look like a camel, which I certainly don't want. So going back to my handlebars this new 5" rise handlebar compared my old one was a flat handlebar, and the stem was Pretty short like 3 inches too short for me.So I then decided to look for something better. When I was shopping around for handlebars I also looked for a new quill stem and quill stem extension and threaded headset. The handlebar search did have me on the fence between a 3 inch rise and 5 inch rise, and after a lot of back forth, I realized 2 inches more made way more sense, helping me be more comfortable as my riding is more of just commuting and riding for fun and excercising not racing, which made me ask myself why on Earth would Huffy put a flat handlebar and such a short stem, then it came to me because they can, for a low cost to consumers like myself, just to make money. Which is really making me rethink Department store bikes, but then on the other hand this bike works for my needs, for now, but I may look at getting a used beginners Cannondale,Trek, Specialized or Giant bicycle, or at least an aluminum frame and fork, and I'd say goodbye to my huffy, but will seeSo I went with a a stem that had an additional 4 inches and that made a huge difference along with the 5 inch raised handlebar. The flat handlebar was a race type handlebar and my bike is a Huffy it’s a commuter bike, not a race bike like a trek, Giant or Specialized or other brands. So for me the raised handlebar did exactly what I needed it to do. Now my bike will be much more fun and comfortable to ride. And I have ridden my bike a couple times and I love it, I have never been more comfortable. See the old handlebar while it was great it wasn't great for my arm length, and I know my bike isn't made for true mountain biking, but it's not intended for racing ether. Great fun bike for fun and commuting. Plus I think this handlebar makes this bike look more like it came custom than a department store.
