My city bike has a Sunrace rear derailleur, a Sunrace freewheel, and it was supposed to have a Sunrace index shifter but the shifter was not smooth (I have Shimano SIS shifter housing) and it would not shift into the 7th gear no matter what I did. I went back to a friction shifter after all of my effort to have index shifting.

Perfect upgrade for a cheap bike. Huge improvement over the stock twist shifter. Even came with shift cable and a 20" piece of housing.Easy to install, very little adjustment needed, and works great!I colored the gear indicator white with a marker to help me see it better. Hopefully the shifter holds up well over time.
