These are some of the ugliest shifters I've ever laid my eyes upon. But since I'm building a commuter build where I REALLY want to not care if it gets stolen, this is a perfect shifter system. I'm doing a 2x7 system on an old beaten up trek. These just barely work. But they do.I will clean up the levers so they don't look like trash. I think a bit of time with my dremel on the mold lines will help the looks. After that I don't know if I'll polish or spray pain them. Do I want stealth or shiny? I don't know.But at least I won't care too much if someone steals them.

These work great and are dirt cheap, but you have to bend the bracket to get them around the stem. The metal is very low quality, and if you bend them to far they will definitely break.

This is not a high end part, by any stretch of the imagination, but it is easy to install, gets the job done, and is comfortable to use. Good price.

These were easy to install and work fine. I used them to replace an old set of stem mounted shifters that had lost their friction hardware. Including the cables was a nice touch - I was able to easily replace the original dirty rusty cables at the same time. One more cable sleeve would have been nice - the original system has 4, so I just re0used one. Some oil on the derailleurs and the old bike has all 12 speeds again!

Kinda ugly and cheap looking compared to the Origin8 cable stop I bought, but it works fine. The short cable housing for back at the derailer has a too small ID for the cable provided, but the two for the shifter itself were fine.

Mounted perfectly to the stem of my standard diameter handlebar quill (this is NOT the one for bike down tubes). Though the ad details say it provides shifting for "2 front" (a 2-ring sprocket), it actually handles all 3 rings of my front derailleur pretty well. Feedback from others indicate they also have no problems with their 3-ring derailleurs. Plenty of free cable length to do the job. Comes with 3 sections of housing that have the ferrules already press-fit to them. There a two 9" sections for the shift levers to housing/ferrule seats and an 8" one for the housing/ferrule seat near the rear derailleur. If your bike does not have the cable housing/ferrule seats near the shifters - or your bike requires full cabling all the way to the derailleurs - you will need to purchase a pack of shift cable housing separately. This little gem was the perfect solution to getting rid of my mountain bike bar, brake levers and grip shifter and replacing them with a bullhorn bar and bar-end brake levers.

It gets the job done. There isn't much of an option if you are searching on amazon for this particular type of part. It's flimsy. Levers move smoothly though, feels nice to use.
