You get what you pay for. I’ve included photos of what I discovered when I opened the box.The powder coating on the pipe sections is sort of a joke. Multiple spots where it’s rough or bumpy, or just super thin and rubbed off from shipping. Some of the bends are ovalized on the ends. Don’t worry, they include some pre-ovalized clamps to fit them on. There’s some powdercoat that managed to work its way into the pipes as well. It rubs off fairly easy in most spots, but some spots are more baked on. It’s recommend running a wire brush through the charge pipe sections before using them. While the more firmly baked on bits will be fine, I’d rather not take the chance the end up in the engine.The silicone couplers are arguably the nicest part of the kit and appear well built for lower boost applications.Other than that, it was about $100 shipped to my door, so nothing I mentioned is a deal breaker for me. It’s going on a 1987 Merkur XR4ti, so I don’t need “Show Car Quality” bits. Maybe some of the other universal kits are nicer, but I’m not going to bother sending this one back to take a chance on another one.

The paint job on them is kind of bad I bought it and had it sit for a while before I would install it or else I probably would have returned them All the couplers and fittings work but for some odd reason they all leaked a little bit and took a lot of tweaking to get them to stop never had that problem with any other kind overall though get the job done but if you could get cheaper ones that are just silver and paint them yourself it'll probably be just as good

i liked every thing the campswere of good qualityand sizing was perfect all tubing was a good usable length and bends no need for cutting until last pieces used for air cleaner and after market breathermy choice personally to cut but ihad a curve and one straight left over with one 90 one straight silicone couplers. over all well thought out kit would use again.thankyou

I used this piping kit for designing a new intake for a 1987 944S that I've converted to an aftermarket ECU, all the pieces arrived in good condition and the measurements/quantities were correct.Pipe wall is thick and sturdy, you could probably stand on it and have trouble getting it to bend or kink. Clamps are good and the couplers will hold up to anything you throw at them.You DO need to clean the pipes of any burs or metal flakes as they aren't cleaned very well from the factory, but you should do this with any piping to ensure that those fragments don't enter the motor. I can imagine someone putting these on their car without cleaning them and ending up with scored cylinders or a destroyed valve seat.Overall this kit is amazing for the money and I would definitely buy other sunroad products in the future. Awesome value!
