How to install
1. Use a pair of scissors to trim the aluminum alloy grill to the appropriate size for the louver hood cover.
2. Remove three to four louvers at the bottom of the vent.
3. Slide into the place in the housing.
4. You have now successfully found a beautiful and efficient way to stop birds, mice, snakes, and more from making a home in your dryer vents and exhaust vents.
5. Easily remove and reinstall for periodic cleaning.

Easy to cut. Fit under the plastic flapper slats in the vent. I had enough to get four vents per sheet with very little waste.

I needed a flat alternative to a plastic grate to go over the exterior vent to the dryer. This fit the need to prevent birds from accessing the vent exhaust while still allowing generous airflow. They are easily trimmed to provide custom coverage.

I bought this mesh to put on the outside opening of our dryer and bathroom vents because little birdies were making nests in the vents. They were easy to cut with heavy duty scissors and worked perfectly—no more bird nests in our vents!! I just popped the louvers off of the vent, set the mesh in place and popped the louvers back onto the vent!

This product was exactly what I was looking for. Used his vent to keep birds from getting into our outside dryer vent. The lent from dryer does not get stuck in vent. Minimum cleaning is necessary but is easy to do!The quality of the product/material is great, it's durable and easy to adjust to the size and shape you need to use.

Birds made a nest in my hvac/furnace air intake duct because there’s a gap there- whoever installed the wall termination was too lazy to use all the screws. Anyway, it’s 40ft high from the ground and it’s been difficult finding someone with a tall enough ladder to fix this (and expensive). I was able to cut and shape a few pieces fairly easily with tin snips, a wood block and pliers. Luckily, I have roof access and was able to use a 8 ft pole to drop these down to where I needed them. The metal used is sturdy and strong enough that I could tap them down into place without deforming. It also has enough weight that birds won’t be able to lift or push it aside. I’m extremely pleased with the quality of this product and how it solved my problem while saving me a ton of money!

Some birds had decided that my dryer vent was a good place to make a nest. This put a stop to it real quick. The holes are big enough that they let a lot of air through, and I haven't seen a lot of lint collecting on it. The material is thick enough that it won't bend easily or deform, but thin enough to be cut with household scissors (as long as they're relatively strong, no kids scissors).Note it doesn't come with anything to fasten it to a wall or anything else, in my case it didn't matter because I was able to slide it into the pre-existing square for the duct after cutting it to size and it stuck, but that may not be the case in all applications. Nothing a few screws and washers can't fix though.

Bad principle. As this may work perfectly for keeping birds out of bath vents, it is terrible for the dryer vent. It plugs with lint and restricts airflow shortening the life of the dryer.
