The Suunto Tank POD is cleaned for oxygen service for added safety when diving with enriched air. The pairing procedure is very intuitive; just pressurize the system, hold your Suunto D5, Suunto EON Steel, Suunto EON Steel Black or Suunto EON Core close to the Tank POD and after a few seconds a menu pops up on the screen showing the serial number, battery status and the tank pressure.

Habe den Tank Pod nun ausgiebig getestet und bin wunschlos glücklich damit! Funktioniert super mit dem Suunto D5 zusammen. Sehr zuverlässig und hält was er verspricht. Preis ist hoch, dafür bekommt man ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt.

Sold through Amazon EU store & delivered FOC. Pod was the updated/upgraded version as indicated with a small white circle on body. Pod came with necessary high pressure swivel which you will need if attaching to a HP Hose.Overall happy with purchase. However, I have had an episode where it was connected to my computer & the connection dropped out so data not transmitted or recorded.

Realized the pod I bought with my Suunto Vyper Air was not compatible with my new D5 computer five days before leaving on a seven day dive trip. Was able to order it and get it shipped to my house with two days to spare!

Must have - great backup for SPD. Let's you focus on your dive and let the computer calculate the breathing rate. Easy access to pressure rather than reaching for the SPD

There is one rather irritating flaw in the design of this item: You cannot pair it unless it is connected and the air is on. At home, I have no way to do this. So I took it to Cozumel this week and once installed by my dive master (who had seen a few of these before) he turned on the air and nothing happened. A green light is supposed to come on, no luck. I placed the computer (D5) against it, but nothing happened. It's dead. I am in Cozumel, so not much I can do about this right now. I know of a scuba repair shop on the island that I may take it to tomorrow and see if they can pair it with the computer.I will update and let everyone know whether I get this fixed or if I have to ship it back.Disappointed, to say the least.

Como siempre, Suunto va un paso más allá. Sin llegar al Teric o al Descent en cuanto a funciones como circuito cerrado, o Trimix, GPS, que los buceadores recreativos no necesitamos, el conjunto D5+Tank Pod funciona a la perfección. Intuitivo y de sencillo manejo, se empareja fácilmente y los datos de tiempo restante, presión de la botella y consumo, coinciden con los datos obtenidos con manómetro analógico. Alarmas visuales y acústicas cuando llegas a reserva. Perfecto para buceadores recreativos que tengan claro que el equipamiento en buceo, sin llegar al lujo, te da más seguridad y comodidad para la inmersión.
