Our 15 year old attic fan blade broke. We had already changed out the motor and were not anxious to disrupt the roof to put in a whole new unit. Off to Amazon we go to see IF they sell a replacement. OF course they do, it is just a wee bit smaller than the one we had...ok about 4" smaller which is less than ideal. However we tried it. This happened to be one of the warmer summers we have had in quite some time and the fan was perpetually on hence why the motor burned out and the fan blade warped and sheared off...this fan blade kept up with keeping the attic space air circulating and helped keep the house more reasonably comfortable. Would I have preferred to get a larger size? Yes, but beggars can't be choosers and this was our best option at the time and it held its own through the end of the blistering summer heat.
