Minimum one, maybe two of the tassels had come off in the box they came in or maybe they provided one extra tassel in the box for repairs, i don't know. It's also possible i may have received someone else's return because there was a definitely a broken thread were the tassel used to be.It didn't ruin them for my purposes, nor did i bother to sew it back on. They looked good. I can't speak to the longevity of them so won't give them higher than 3 stars, but they worked as promised.
