Too big for our bed. And we did know the size. Quality is not that great. Colour was spot on.Sent it back at a cost of $49.00 CDN. Not happy about that.

I love this but........... It was huge! Touched the floor on all four sides of my king sized bed, so a little too big actually. I washed it hoping it would shrink. It did, but only from side to side, not top to bottom. And it does shed a lot of lint in the dryer, but knowing that in advance, I checked the dryer every 20 minutes to clean out the lint so it dried more quickly than it would have. My reason for four stars........ the hem has already started to come apart after one washing. Hoping to stitch it by hand before the whole thing comes undone. Love the weight, color, texture, etc.

I like the quality and design of this coverlet, but I was most disappointed when I washed and dried it according to the instructions on the coverlet, but it shrunk 12" in length and 10" in width. I needed the 120" width for our bed. According to the return policy, it cannot be returned because it is not in its original condition. Beware. It does shrink.

I love the color and softness of the bedspread but was shocked at the amount of lint during the first washing.This bedspread was a great size when received but shrunk much more than expected, before washing it hung to the floor, after washing I would call it a coverlet not a bedspread. It's also much lighter than I thought it would be, fine for the spring and summer but not good in the cold weather. There are probably much better choices out there, keep looking. After a few weeks I'm finding lots of pulls and snags, not durable at all.

Pleasantly surprised! I have been in search of a coverlet that would cover my mattresses on both sides of the bed and this one fit the bill! The size is perfect for my king bed. My bed is 40" from the floor. I make it a touch longer on the side that's most visible but it still covers the mattress on the other side. It also allows me to cover the pillows which I was never able to do with the standard King size coverlets. Not only is this the perfect size, but the material is perfection. Not too thin and not too thick and so soft. Perfect for the summer. The pattern is simple and easy on the eyes. The price is really nothing to complain about. I have spent more on others that weren't worth it. This one even comes with two pillow shams. I'm not going to be using them, but at least I have them if the need ever arises. There is nothing to complain about with this product. Only thing we have to wait to see is how much it will shrink when it's washed. In the past, even though I have washed in cold water and hung to dry, cotton coverlets will always shrink. We shall see how much this will shrink - hope it doesn't!!

I have an extra deep King sized mattress and the bed sits on a padded base with feet. I wanted something to decoratively cover the comforter yet not an old fashioned bedspread that draped to the floor. Any decorative comforter was never wide enough to completely drape down to cover my sheets and blankets. This bedspread completely covers both sides of the bed and all the blankets with enough length to look elegant and not skimpy. Highly recommend.

I LOVE the size of this cover. Very rarely are king bed covers made big enough to cover top to bottoms and side to side. It’s also very light weight, as for softness that’s relative. It’s soft for what it is but I wouldn’t say it’s the softest blanket I’ve put on my bed.

NOT AS ADVERTISED! I would give this item minus stars if possible. The item appears to be a matelasse bedspread in the photo. The photos and descriptions are deceiving. It is not matelasse! It is made from a very poor quality knit stretchy fabric that is not even serviceable as a blanket. From past experiences with cheap fabric, it very likely will not hold it’s shape, shrink up when washed and possibly fall apart. Terrible quality. Don’t waste your time.

This is a lovely bedspread. It's heavy but lightweight if that makes sense? It's 100% cotton and looks beautiful.However, it is ENORMOUS! I bought a king size since that's what size bed we have and it hangs a good 2.5 feet past the bottom of the bed. I tried washing it in warm & putting it on full heat in the dryer but it didn't shrink much. Next time we'll try hot water. It's like the thick cotton blankets I remember from when I was a child. So pleased with this.I definitely will have to buy new pillows because the shams are huge too and just flop with the current king pillows we have.

I purchased the big king for my queen bedo d. The bed is on a platform that is 8.8 inches and box and mattress. So when I put it on the bed, man-o-man I had material everywhere. It drapped over the sides with an extra 4 inches on either side. So I though, no problem I will hem it all round. But before I did that I put in in the washer and dryer on the regular 'cotton cycle' with lots of softener and let it do its thing. Oh my but it shrank to the EXACT size to the millimeter that I needed. Saved me oodles of time and looks amazing. I should also mention that the 100% cotton I have not had a swetty night since changing from mircorfiber to this 100% cotton solution.GET IT,
