. It's a solid product/design, stiffer ride and better cargo capacity. I removed entire axel; 8 hours. Bolt holding leafs must be longer; it will NOT reach/set in the axel hole. My truck rides significantly better and higher (1.5"). I would buy again. Nissan HARDBODY

I was not able to use on my vehicle a GMT400 but if you where to install by adding to the leaf spring pack it would work fine,I could see it working on a s10 canyon or other Medium sized leaf spring with the in the intended manner,This was well put together and robust u bolts, and other hardware, keeping it in my saved items

I'm giving these helper springs only 4 stars due to the description not being clear on what these will fit. It's not going to fit most trucks! It is designed to go under the axle for leaf springs that mount under the able as well. Unless you want to remove your ubolts and add it in the spring pack... it's not going to work with over the able springs (most trucks).

We have a shortbed S10 at work that can't take much weight without sagging in the back. Installation took about 20-30 minutes and now it feels much firmer. I don't think these are for lifting or raising a car, just preventing them from sagging when carrying weight or helping out weak old springs.

I purchased these in June of 2009 and installed them on my truck to give my truck more support to haul my 31ft. 5th wheel. Today 6/13/2011 a 6 inch piece of one of the leaf spring helpers broke off while I was driving down the road. Lucky for me and other traffic it happened while I was on a less traveled road and only going about 25 mph. These leaf spring helpers are only 2 years old and they broke. I guess they are not made of quality steel. I don't recommend them.

got these to put on my 94ranger, had to put them in the middle of my springs to make them fit, it took a little work but dont have to worry bout them moving. i haul alot of wood in the summer n so far these have done great, iv had a couple of realy big loads on them n they do come close to flat but for the price i think they r a great deal, not to sure bout the 2000lb but they do the trick.
