I could only use half the bag because there was so much dirt that stained a lot of the moss. Was expecting it to be cleaner.

I just re-ordered a second bag of this. I do not need pristine white moss for my projects...and a grass green moss would not work. I bought some lovely artist made planters and they are a light beige...I decided to top of my floral foam with the moss and then put a thin layers of 3/8" natural rock chips allowing moss to peek through. I like that some of the moss does have tiny bits of earty looking areas. and some are easily removed...if white white is what you are after I would say this is more of a beautiful natural color white...cream. Not dark...light cream. So soft and easy to use. i love SuperMoss it is my go to brand for moss of any kind.

I’ve purchased this in the past and was very happy with the quality and little waste. This package and a Royal Blue package both had tremendous amount of waste. So much shedding and unusable scraps of the moss. Frustrating.

Probably good for topping dirt in planters but not great for craft purposes. Too much debris tangled up in the moss and being delicate, you'll end up tearing and wasting a good amount when cleaned.
