I rolled the whole 328 yards of the 20lb/0.20mm version on a 10000 reel and used from the shore. Caught some seabass and rays. The largest of the seabasses was a 12 pounder and had no trouble reeling it in with this line. After some time, the green color faded a little bit, but that was not a problem for me as I had a monofilament leader after the braided line.

Haven't used mine yet but was with a guy using this libe and it was phenomenal. Snagging for spoonbill. Got hooked up on the bottom and hooked it to the thwart on the boat to pull it loose several times and got all 3 hooks and the dipsy back. Highly recommend

By far one of the best braids in the Market. Using this braid mostly for backing on my 6 fly rods. Great for visibility strength and hook strikes

I compared to 80 pound 4 strand "reaction tackle" found on amazon.Reaction tackle is garbage compared to Gevicont, I found the 80 pound bleed almost all the color ( line in water for 2 hours) and was a off white after a full day of river fishing. Did not hold well against abrasion and stunk. Smelled of chemicals.Gevicont offers same price/ similar price per yard. While giving you line that keeps color, doesn't stink, and holds up against rocks far better for reasons I can't explain. Both were 4 strand, 80 pound should be stronger... Yet the 60# gevicont was better. In terms of strength I've also had the 80# randomly break with not much force, the 60# from this brand seemed much more universal and even in performance.

I ordered this because I don't care for polymer fishing line and also didn't want to pay the high price for spider wire at a store close by. This line is much stronger than I thought it was going to be especially since it's an off-brand that I'd never heard of. Was actually pleasantly surprised at the strength and durability of this line. Also a single spool was the perfect amount for my open faced reel with only having about 6 yards left over. Well worth the price and would definitely buy again.

This is for the 40 lb white braid (I saw a video on how white is the least visible, at least offshore saltwater). I dunno how but on the field in jetty rocks the abrasion resistance outperformed 40 lb Sufix tritanium copolymer. I landed my PB black drum on this braid after it decided to tangle me up. It mustve been rubbing on jagged rock down there but it held. Same spot, same bait, on different rod and reel and what felt like another black drum but on the Sufix copolymer line 40lb test. Snapped the line after I got it close. Suffice to say this cheap braid is very good. This will be my third time buying it.

I've ordered something like a dozen spools of this stuff in the last year. I think I've loaded reels with 6, 8, 10, 15, 30, 40, 60, and 100#, all different colors, although I favor the camo. I've really tested the 6, 15, 30, 40, and 60#. All of them work at least as well as more well-known competitors. You're going to have some initial color flecking off with any brand, this one being no different. The diameters seem about accurate. I haven't tested breaking strength, though the lines have never broken on me when I didn't expect them to. All Gevicont lines have met my performance expectations.Helpful tip for light braid users (20# and less): I've found that my uni-uni knot will break before my lure knot does (San Diego Jam) 100% of the time. I started to think that maybe the light braid is cutting through the leader at the connection knot, so I started doubling the line on the braid side of the uni-uni. Since switching over to this, I found that my lure knot breaks before my connection knot does, which means one less knot to tie to get back in the water.Tight lines m8s.

This product says its only rated for 100lbs break strength but I did a test and it easily suspended 110lbs of swingstage weights. The line has a lot of life for the high test weight and I'm really happy with it.

This is the perfect fishing line for a young boy. He loves to catch catfish. The Base run off with his line, ending his fishing trip, and he gets his hook and waits stuck in the rocks. He is strong and pulls his line up. - the line and weights. He is hopeing with the braided line that the 100lbs line can free up his hook and weights from the the rocks. We live in middle GA, and( Go Fish)Is his favorite thing to do once a month. The ranger is teaching him how to catch catfish, anywhere in GA. I know how to fry them if he brings one home of legal size.I think he might be on to something.I fished a lot as a child, oh I loved those bass but I was older too.Oh I can't wait to see how this line will be in the water. So far I am impressed with the lines lack of springing when his grandfather put the line on his reel. And the little guy didn't have any trouble with the line springing all over the place.

Have always been a Power Pro fan but a friend talked me into trying this. Quality seems to be very good. Trophy Rockfish Season starts next week so I will put it to the test......
